I know Dave didn't call a great game or have a good plan with the bye and lots of chips in the pile, but Evero made me beyond pissed when he did this. In fact this was the moment I was- "They are going to lose", going in and until then I still thought Panthers were going to win.... i swear after the SB Ls and a few other games, this loss was a top ten soul crusher for me.....

My guess is Panthers have a "planned model of paying players" and they almost had to spend a chunk of space on a DLman after Dbrown injury season gave them a nightmare out-come of worst D in NFL scoring. Once Milton got above Dbrown payments, they went with the plan B. A player whom the "co-GM" put his name with. Brad said turk would not be a problem off-field and leader, which the Panthers need badly. I dug in with the google-fu, I found out I also found him playing lots of NT, which was shocking given the small frame. He seems ready for a bigger role and had a great SB too. IDK, I feel Dan Morgan was dead set on not going into this season without more DL depth and its there. The real deal is this, nearly all FA take one year to "adjust". I think turk is trying too hard and causing injuries as a result for his contract. Dbrown called turk "strong as hell" and I know for a fact Dbrowns has insane core and strength numbers. They lift together with the 50 LB difference...... you always lift with a guy who's similar in strength cause you can leave on the 8 wheels, let the other guy lift while you rest and go after him. I do wish he had a better beginning to his panther career, 3 games for him to do so and it would cover up the low points if he made a few plays.... Again it felt like they almost had to make move/spend $$$ and Morgan was going to have DL depth this season no matter what...My best guess.

That's my issue, he's got the top CB money for a few days, like in the largest CB contract in NFL history and I believe he still has a large guarantee which is tied to GP, but....... he's had bad moments during the season for being the "guy". Still a fan and all, but I understand the whispers, cause Ive had them during the season. Then he has a 2 INT game, but falls down twice in the next game.....I swear the trolly "he's got money on the game comments"....... it has felt like that at times..... lock in horn they need you!!

Have a heart my friend!! I think we both agree team-wise is low on talent, no? Personally I had them at 2 wins, 4 maybe at best and right now they sit at the miracle 7 with 3 games remaining. That is with playoffs still in the frame..... Hes learning on the job as a young pup, plus simply they needs to be some sort of stop to the the "team reset" of HCs. Im no big fan as I stated before, but 7 wins has broken my cold heart.....(wouldn't miss him tho..). He had no answer for the pitiful saints, but he also beat rams short-handed and green Bay in the bay.....Theres good and bad, maybe he can get better in future years.

I mean the draft has been O- TMJ, mingo, XL, tmac all either 1st or 2nd rounders rb- brooks in the 2nd, early 4th on trevor TE- first 4th rounder sanders, Evans mid 5th I mean after that "all-D rhule" draft its been O in the early and often cat. #1 cap/money OL in the NFL without icky signing his record breaking LT deal. BY only needs 10 all-pros around him, then WATCH-OUT NFL!!!!

Main job for a QB is wins. WHile BY didn't have one of his classic "bad" BY game, he didn't do enough for the team to win. Still BY is faaar down the list for that saints game. He did a good job of using his legs when needed. While Icky and BY finally stepped up and took a terrible timed sack.

Brother, try it juiced up with adrenaline and caffeine against a player/team that's been talking cash money shiit to you. I promise injuries would go up for the defenders trying to avoid hitting/contact. I already figured it out, new rule the QB must signal(much like a fair catch) he intends to slide and NOT at the last nano second of some NFL defender in full sprint. QB uses his off-ball hand to show he intends on sliding. Then the defender has enough time to try and avoid hitting the QB like was done in every year pre-2010s.....

Years ago I put on my Nostradamus hat and foreetold that the WRs would start avoiding hits by sliding and running out of bounds more. More track and world class sprinters would enter the realm of football and its millions of paydays I still believe it, honestly Id already be doing if I was a WR....who cares about the public outcry, the sport is heading towards flag-football each year. I think its still within 20 years of happening, but the under handed free throw never took off cause players are too pridefull even if they are scoring more and helping the team win...... Unless its the Superbowl, does it matter to your body if the pass goes for 37 yards or 35 and 4 guys tired to kill me....its business....

Id just let BY contract run out or trade him, like evero he's already dealt with. I would bring back evero if he wants to be here, if his dream is HC, let him go and get a 3rd comp and hire a 3-4 guy. If Dave doesnt want to grow without his BFF, fine he can go too.... Summary- No one that truly want or would be upset if they left, minus the OL gurus goodwin and gibert. There needs to be a signal the QB does before he slides, that's about the only solution. Its beyond unfair to a 4.4 275 edge man-beast sprinting 10 yards away to FULL-stop while at full speed at a last second slide cause the QB is protecting himself. SImilar to the punt returner and the fair catch, that's at least allows those 4.3 LBs to not murder the punt returner. The QB... BEFORE he starts to slide...... needs to take his off hand and point at the ground or some other signal. Do Roger, do it!!

Yea, its a awful year for COY there's like 5 coaches Id as a non-panther fan say are more worthy than Dave. Ben Johnson is doing similar to Dave by taking a yearly loser into a winner, but da bears are what 9-10 wins right now. Liam Coen has the fuging jags at 9-4 with similar talent as Panthers, I mean they drafted before them this pass year and had nearly zero from a guy they traded up for @#2 hunter. ugh....Sean Payton&vance has the broncos as the current #1 seed in the AFC..... you know the broncos before the year starts you have the chiefs with mahomes&reid and chargers with herbo&harbs. No one had broncos winning there nor as a the #1 overall seed. Mike Macdonald has the Seahawks at 10-3 compare that to Panthers 7-6, they are in a blood bath against Rams and 49ers.....shanny has half the team on IR with a 9-4 record. Chargers are 9-4 with no OL or RB and not much on D. I have even put colts above Dave and the Panthers, if not for Danny injury...they were on the way and playing great. Just soooooooooooo many HC deserving this year and still more games, but Dave has over played this year for sure. I had them at a firm 2 win team, with 4 being the maybe and 7?!?!?!? being the everything goes right. 7 wins is possible given the shitty NFC south.
