I have not followed game for game since the trade. Just seen headlines about benching him(I believe there was even cut talks) and being a draft nut, the loins were in the QB pool by nearly every report. After a few wins, goff doesnt look as bad now.....just took til mid-season...

Not going to say much, just I was shocked to see how fast he is. After lamar, I think danny is the next fastest.

The big deal was Mcvay lost all faith in goff. No trust along with what was the 2nd highest(could have been #1) contract, you got one mountain of a problem. Plus if one of the best offensive minds wants to get rid of you, welllll. I think the only reason why this happened, the new loins GM worked for rams/les. Many times a player needs a fresh start and brain reset, goff seems to turned the tide. He was awful til the last 6 games or so, plenty of talk about loins drafting a QB this past draft cycle. Bill is the fing goat, he is universally copied. If a team struggles with the pats, they continue to do so afterwards. He tore goffs game apart and put out great ideas to stop mcvay(whom adjusted). hes just brilliant about knowing a players strengths and weaknesses, then building a gameplan around them.

Brother, this isnt a right or wrong deal for me. I know how much the Rams hate 49ers, similar to panthers hate for saints... Pure guess form my standpoint. I bet rams were not the only team as well, maybe a couple more. It was a waste, just a tiny NFL one and it hurts thy enemy..

In a rare move, I totally whiffed on Parsons. I thought he was a normal MLB-type-role player.......he is a game changer. I personally thought Jamin Davis was the better MLB.(hes not). If you were to have a all-world team, parsons is somewhere on the starting D.... I blame some of this on me de-valuing the MLB spot, but again Parsons is not a MLB he is michael myers dealing with a group of teens in a abandoned house..

It would hurt the 49ers chances for a deep run, thats the main reason. They dont need or want him, seahawks could do the same......49ers may have the best D when healthy, clear path to deep run even with a sucky-ass QB.... plus in thoery you could claim him and hope to the heavens some dumb team signs him to crazy deal thus giving you a shot at a late comp pick.... If baker is on your QB radar, what better/cheaper way than 1.4million(nfl pennies) for a 5 game tryout?? Much cheaper than signing him to some 12 million one year deal.
