  1. I think the ark C got a similar contract as well. You are right, crazy as it sounds spending a few hundred thousand on UDFAs and cutting them before the season is just part of the business. I know you remember the hair dude underwood(?) that Dave gave him like 400,000-600,000 SB and he didn't make the roster. It happens too much, but that's just the current market. I honestly thought Dan had a better UDFA haul than his draft haul. He spent a high amount and was very aggressive. Couple guys should make the team and few should be on the PS. He got some talent and wasted money, but that's the only way. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/91441/andrew-raym I don't think he makes the team.
  2. Seems the first great practice since the 2010s. Hope more are coming!
  3. As much as I hate it, Sean Payton is the best play caller for periods during the Brees era. Plus he's one hell of designer too. Unless Reid got Brees, I don't see the success.
  4. I've been thinking, crazy as it sounds I believe they need to trade AT or dare say cut him if the cap ramifications aren't too dire. They are not winning this year and AT may only have this year, plus if I recall last year was rough enough on him that he may welcome a change. I keep thinking he makes the most sense, even tho it feels 50 iq Mingo seems to fit the slot as well. {<puts on poo armor>}
  5. I guess a hand-off machine is worthy of being 1st overall. It's just bad resource usage. I mean if you wanted a rock climbing vehicle, it doesn't make sense to buy drag racing wheels and motors.. Just super upsetting to witness. Even the 39th 2023 pick and 31st 2024 pick for WRs to block....ugh. I feel you are right, he re-viewed some old tape and told his BFF dan- "bro only chance is running the ball and give me a 6 yr deal cause this is madness!!!"
  6. Ive thrown in the towel for the 2023 season. The DVR was exorcised weeks after the final game. In 2017 times Id watch some old games during the PS, NOT this year!
  7. Only deal that saved him was he had to gain teppers trust somehow. Marty herniay proved how easy it was. After about three weeks into Dave's hiring, I wished Dan hired evero instead. But I get the offensive staff would have been impossible to keep if success came. I wish one of the reporters would ask if the RPO will be apart of this years system and if so how much? It never made sense why frank never put it in some plays last year. I think this a big deal, imo.
  8. My god, I think its time...
  9. Yo Dave...... start leaning on Jim Caldwell.
  10. One of the only true dawgs on the team and like NcBlu said "he was the only Baylor/temple rhule guy that ended up being good". Roy was ok for a couple seasons and now he's bouncing around. Terrible terrible I still feel Franklin would make one hell of a WLB in a 4-3 system.
  11. Should have never gotten rid of RIvera if this was the plan.....sooo much for modernizing and wasting on trade up for #1.
  12. Yea odds are against them, but you never know. Panthers got two "jag" types as try outs and guess what, they are the top backups on the DL. Ray and Thurman gave solid snaps and you couldn't tell much of drop. DL is heavy rotated as well. Maybe the only luck the Panthers had last year getting good backups form a try-out.
  13. I miss the glory days too, before everything was forced divide like its so common these days. Bad guys are winning and just about finished. Sports and favorite team/players was once something that brought all people together to forget the rat race and other BS. NOPE can not have that!!
  14. Big panthers/unc fan, but man ooo man if peppers just meet the right person/people he could have set the NFL records book on fire. Still one hell of a career and he was still producing that 17th season. No one seems to last longer than 8-9 seasons now(minus QB&STers). I feel he could have the best TE too.
  15. Yo mhs, did you see the 2nd unit?? Besides Christ, it was different than I thought it would be. Im about to give up hope on Mays too. Super early and all, but it already feels like zavala is getting cut after being a 4th. Lee maybe a super sleeper as well. I still feel the OL is overall best unit on this bad team.
  16. Rhule had roster control the first two years with fittererererer. Then Tepper demanded he get a QB. Not to say fitterererer first year with control wasn't a epic disaster. Fact is nothing outside of few close loses has gone right for ANYONE with the Panthers. Well teddy did set career highs. Everyone has failed- all coaches, all scouts, all players, and owner.
  17. Well you guys are right, Im simply too tight for the last 6 years and not being a fan of the draft picks in the last couple years. He's a rookie and this league is a humble machine. I broke my rule about judging rookies, dang I'm waaaay off.....
  18. I thought ISM was like 80% for a spot, but they just signed the NFL return yards leader. Just to add, I feel they will carry 7. Early notes about ST seem to favor WR types as well. 2 -Qbs 7- WRs 4- TEs 4- RBs 9- OL Well numbers don't add up, back to 6, unless they cut TE like Sullivan whom is currently hurt.
  19. Change the letters back to the OG 17 Delhomie!!!
  20. I keep seeing the halo soldier face in t=your avatar ..
  21. Rookies all struggle, my thing the level of competition after Horn isnt world beaters. Jamsion was a cut and claim CB and number wise odds- he will be cut by the panthers this time. Plus these are just one plays, but your newest 1st rounder is having trouble against street FA level.... I was hopeful panthers just got some luck instead of waiting 3 years before XL learns.
