I the same, thought it was one of the best "value" trades in panthers history. It just didnt work out. Scary part is if only darnold didnt get hurt and take so long to get healthy. Baker never showed much minus the comeback against cleveland and garbo-time against bungals. He got worst each game it felt like, dam shame cause it did look he was trying his hardest......(just got a bad case of succ..) Hes had the craziest football career in history also...

Give Sam the 5th year 19mill ok Bring back broken Cam for less than half the season for 6 mill Trade a now 4th and future 3rd for Corral Trade a 4/5 for Baker and pay him 7 mill Minus Corral(whos tbd) each choice was wrong. Sure they came close to Stanford, who could have been using the panthers for more reasons to go to LA. Yea the famed 2021 is looking like the horror 2022 class. Far too early, just right now many are looking bad.... Burrow is about the only QB form the last 5 years thats in the the changing franchise category(personally Id take hendo, but hes struggling some)...... its the hardest thing in the sports world to take a historic bad team and turn them into a winning team *given you need 22 starters and a bunch of STers ala a clutch kicker(brady ownes his life to them). Mac Jones has thee goat HC and his elite Ds covering his arse.....same for the rookie season, hes just one step ahead of a 2022 4th rounder...... not impressive to me.
