Yea Davis gave the panthers a good 1 and half seasons. Kevin was only two season late in his career. Walls and Kasay are panthers legends(tho kicker is.....). I still believe the panthers free agency history is BY FAR the worst one over the last 26 years. Cat bro down south had much better names and success. Browns had some panthers like free agency. You did improve, still farrrr behind the other 31 teams. Panthers focused on resigning players form 7-9 teams. Think about the BIG name free agent pickups......The two are Ken Lucas and Matt Wahle. Not late in career or blossomed after a cheap deal. Big names..... just those two in prime career points.

Yea they are pushing those opt-out guys down, its unique. I didnt like players that pass on their bowl game, but understand the risk. Had around 110 million before the start of this free agency. Frittererermagic borrowed close to 50 million form 2022 to pay for 2021 free agents....... 2022 doesnt include a QB, ANderson, Moore, or Moton.......OR a starting C or RG.........need to hit on some draft picks.

We are talking the bugals here, but for alllllll their mistakes, recent drafts havnt been half bad. Still they could be like many teams and have Slater rated higher. Their golden boy is pushing HARD for WR CHase. Lastly they just signed Riley Reiff and drafted Jonah Williams with the 9th pick in 2019, both play OT..... Sewell seeems to be falling and he even may fall past the panthers if Fields/Lance are still there, no matter what reports say. Personally love to see Sewell drafted by the panthers, thought it was a dream months ago........not as dreamy now.

Herbert just had the best rookie season in NFL history, only thing I can think of to ease the pain.....Herniay would still be GM if he drafted Herbert..

Fields been able to run fast is a another thing D have to stop, its a modern/huge plus if a QB is able run for a 1st down. But Im not a big Fields guy anyway, just impressed with his time and pro-day he had. Much rather my QB be a 4.4 than a 5 type.

Watching some of Fields pro-day, just as impressive as lances'. Both got tiny hands, hate that... Still Fields wasnt scared to run, unlike lance (unless he was hurt). Im remaining strong about Fields, hes a god dam tease of the 10 level.

I think you are laying out Beaguals plan for the draft as well. I doubt panthers keep their true plans secret. Marty was here for 16 years, no question he knows whom to contact for panthers draft plans. Frittererer could also be not sharing the information, thus making hard for agents to remain loyal. The only saving grace, is Detroit/Beaguals have to force teams to fight over the 4th-5th best QB.... Some teams wise up and think- "Well 4 teams that needed QBs passed up this guy, why did they do that??"

I thinks theres a chance they pick one of bama WRs even if Chase is available. Waddle is my #7 overall player and could see Miami going with him. Lions would be left with a legit shot at Chase or slim reaper. They have a new GM and coaching staff, nothing to go off of. They could go off the charts and pick hometown beast Paye too. I got 1-6 somewhat figured out, but nothing on Lions except WR is my guess. Some non-QB studs will fall with jones in the top three.

I must have missed this rule change. It seems if you draft a QB in the top three, you also get the whole OL, WRs, and choice of RB or TEs. Its all makes sense now! Jags may want to pick Mac Jones given this new rule.....

O yea they learn and adapt, thats why I like when fanspeak updates its boards. I believe drafttek is by far the best/realist list. Use Draft diamonds, you can still get someone like Marvin Jones in the 5th with their current list.(many others as well)
