  1. What do you have against Williams? Just curious...
  2. Don't the Bears have a guy wanting to play in a 3-4? Seems like an even trade to me...
  3. QB values are through the roof. It’s the most important position in sports by a long shot and trading a solid WR, 2nd, future 1st, and (even further) future 2nd to flip picks all the way to the top of the draft is great value for one. If Young turns this franchise around and has us back in the playoffs we absolutely crushed that trade.
  4. It appears to be a defense that is catered to both Burns and Browns strengths. I really like Brown as a 3-4 DE vs a DT in a 4-3. I get what you are saying though, it may look great on paper but it doesn't make it a guarantee.
  5. His skillset fits the 3-4 edge position better, but it's not like we can't just line him back up on the DL if he plays worse in the 3-4 (which I can't see happening). Evero listed Burns as a top reason he wanted to come here and then proceeded to switch us to his 3-4. He probably has a better understanding than most on how Burns should look. Waiting could be a dangerous game, but at the end of the day he is probably going to make a large amount of money regardless.
  6. Coming from the person who was wanting AR over Young I find this a very interesting take...
  7. Once we turned down that Rams deal we all but told Burns he will be resigned/extended and it will be for a large amount of money. I would imagine we had some idea of what he was wanting before we turned down an offer like that.
  8. It's a gamble. With his frame/style he might be actually better in the 3-4 especially with Evero coaching him. Waiting could put us in a corner where he wants even more money.

  10. Yeah if Young is a capable starter that gets us in the the playoffs then that trade was worth it. 2nd, Moore, 24 1st, 25 2nd to get us out of QB purgatory is well worth it.
  11. I can’t believe there are still people on here who are upset we drafted what was considered the top QB prospect in this past draft. I’m an Auburn fan and I’m 1000% on board. The more I see and read about him the more I understand why he went 1.
  12. He throws one of the nicest passes you will see when he has time and his feet set.
  13. Yeah they got a mid second, one first next year, a future second, and a solid young WR. Hell AZ got pick 33, next year’s 1st and 3rd for pick 3 on a non QB player.
  14. I can’t believe Greedy Williams couldn’t make it on a roster. He was a 2nd round pick who couldn’t stay healthy the past couple years and the Eagles signed him in March then released him in August. He was very good in college.
  15. The trade for the top pick in the draft? I’ve heard very few people (aside from the ones that don’t like Bryce) hate on that trade. Giving up Moore next year’s first and a future 2nd to move up to the top pick in the draft is solid as far as value goes. Look what the Niners did for Lance who was pick 3. The Texans traded pick 33 plus next year’s 1st and 3rd to move up to pick 3. The value was solid whether you like the pick or not is a different story.
  16. Stetson Bennett right now 4/9 14 yards 2 INTs…
  17. Lincoln Riley had Baker playing so well he was the top pick. Don’t get me wrong, Williams is legit but I wouldn’t say he is Mahomes level yet.
  18. Fitt can get us a 6th back pretty easily if that’s all it takes.
  19. We need to keep our draft picks. Already down a 1st and a 2nd the following year.
  20. Late pick on OL seems to always pay dividends. I was excited about the pick when I saw how excited Campen was when we made it.
