Colts handling AR much better than the Texans did with Stroud. Starting OL and puts him back in after the INT to let him learn and try to bounce back.
-
Malik is looking good for the Titans, but he did last preseason as well.
-
Yeah Cam had a lot sail on him as well. I think the only QB I’ve seen get away with it regularly is Mahomes.
-
Yeah can’t do those throws off your back foot in the NFL and get away with it.
-
That Eagles offense will be a good one to help AR develop.

Yeah I never understood people like this. If we think we got the right guy (which I think we did) why are we so concerned about another rookie QB. Getting excited about a rookie having a bad preseason game is odd and very premature. I questioned some of our posters freaking out about Young’s scrimmage INT, but I’m not sure these Stroud haters are any better. I hope Stroud, AR, and Young all have great careers. It’s better for the league.

If Love becomes a great QB that franchise has to be the luckiest one.

Well he would have been backing up 1st round pick Tua again, so yeah he needed to transfer to get playing time. Good looking out by Saban which hurts me to say as an Auburn fan… Alabama has become a QB factory lately.
-
Lol you have gone off the deep end. Please respect the players point of view and acknowledge the school he spent a majority of his college career at like he wants. https://www.si.com/college/alabama/.amp/bamacentral/the-extra-point-jalen-hurts-true-alma-mater-de-siver

You asked why would he rep them? He specifically did in a recent interview. So if I click on ESPN’s college stats for Hurts Alabama won’t he listed? Keep reaching Boomer…

You might want to let Hurts know this… https://rolltidewire.usatoday.com/2023/01/22/bama-in-the-nfl-watch-jalen-hurts-reminds-reporter-that-he-went-to-alabama-too/ https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/alabama-football/jalen-hurts-discusses-allegiances-to-alabama-oklahoma-i-have-so-much-love-for-both-of-them/

Bryce Young will be in Season 4 of QB1: Beyond the Lights.
ForJimmy replied to OUCPFL's topic in Carolina Panthers
He will be fun to watch. If they can develop him the NFL could be in trouble. However with their owner, I’m skeptical they will give him what he needs to succeed… -
I originally wanted Stroud over Young, but thought and still think both will have good careers. As soon as our staff picked Young I assumed he was the right choice. Between Caldwell, Reich, Brown, and McCown they have a lot of bright offensive minds. Based on what I’ve seen so far Young has confirmed why he was the right choice. It’s still insanely early in either player’s career, but it’s hard to argue against Young being the guy based on what we have all seen/heard so far.
-
Exactly. We actually have a staff that is going to let our rookie develop even if he struggles early.

Dumb stuff! How do you feel about Pogs?
-
Baker might not be starting, Kyler is hurt again and his job might be in jeopardy (especially if they can land Caleb Willians). Oklahoma’s glory days are gone now that Riley left and they have to play better competition in the SEC. Boomers won’t be booming anymore…
-
Yeah he lost his job to Tua who went in the first round. Saban encouraged him to transfer so he could play his last year. To think Jalen was undraftable out of Alabama is a bit naive. He was getting drafted, granted Oklahoma probably got him drafted higher than he was going to out of Alabama, but who knows. A QB projected to go in the 2nd round will usually play his final year if he can.
-
So he wasn’t an Alabama QB for 3 years? Brady wasn’t very draftable out of Michigan, Warner out of Northern Illinois or wherever he played. He transferred because Tua was going to be the starter and he wanted to start.
-
Yeah he took Alabama to the championship game where Tua came in for him and won it.
-
For 1 year. 75% of his career was at Alabama.
