  1. I want to be able to change by vote every hour based on my feelings. Can we enable this poll to do that??
  2. Same. I have a preference, but will be excited about any of those guys.
  3. I find it odd for anyone to quit being a fan over a draft pick. Especially without even giving them a chance to see if they are a success or not. The only situation I could understand is if the team is doing something they morally disagree with like trading for Watson with all his allegations.
  4. It's definitely fun/exciting. I love the debates, but at the end of the day it's a win/win between Bryce and CJ.
  5. There is probably 3 QBs going in the top 4 between Us, Houston, and the Colts. The Raiders or another mystery team could be in play for that 3rd pick as well. Yeah I don't think AR would make it to 9.
  6. You very well might be right on that. His preparation is off the charts. Someone said he was on Luke's level for film study as well. If a mold can be broken he might be the one to do it.
  7. Who needs a PG when you can do this? Also there is a basketball PG named..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Richardson_(basketball)
  8. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/gm-report/reich-evaluation-on-anthony-richardson He doesn't even care about that completion %! Do it Reich! "He's an exciting player. Even before the combine watching his tape, there are plays and throws all over the tape that scream top pick. That's a credit to him. I think he has upper-body mechanics that are really solid. Obviously, his completion percentage is lower than you want at this level, but I don't get too discouraged at things like that."
  9. I'm ok with any of the QBs. I'll bitch and moan later if they struggle after a couple of years, but that is what being a fan is all about right? I fully plan on overhyping whoever it is as well!
  10. Hail Mary roll out into a QB run or just launch it! I hope he wears number 1 to piss everyone off.
  11. I can’t wait to use AR and Carolina on Madden!
  12. Tuttle actually showed up and schooled both CJ and McCown. It’s why the media won’t cover it…
  13. He is probably just doing what his agent says. Young’s character is solid.
  14. I believe Stroud's was two years ago. So an argument could be made that the more recent one is from wear and tear due to constantly taking hits. It's a pretty weak argument I admit, but still one that could be made as one prospect finished his most recent season not missing any games.
  15. That's inaccurate. He missed one last year and played great the week after against UT.
  16. If you follow the context of most they are saying it is a concern, but they are more than ok with the pick. It all falls apart with people state it isn't a concern, he won't get hurt because he only did once in college, look he took this one hit and survived so he can take 1000 more etc...
  17. That number is just from McShay's article. I guess he is assuming Stroud's frame can add 6-7 pounds before preseason or maybe his ideal guy just weighs 7 pounds more? It was 6'2" 220 my fault. “The only thing I'm worried about with Bryce is can he hold up?” McShay said. “You know, that's really it. I mean, if he was 6-2, 220 pounds, there would be no conversation. Bryce Young would clearly be the number one quarterback in this class.”
  18. Not at all, or at least I don’t think so. It’s the only thing that makes me lean Stroud but I will be very happy with Young and hope he breaks the barrier for the next guy his size.
  19. That's a good point. You don't see nearly as many in college (or maybe I just don't notice). My first thought was bigger stronger hits in the NFL, but college also has smaller players taking hits so you think it would produce similar results... Dan Morgan and Luke never had the in college and in the NFL it was an issue.
  20. For the record I think Young can be successful despite his size. I think it's something that shouldn't be ignored and pretend like it's not big deal. His pocket awareness and IQ can help avoid some of those hits, but he will probably need to change his style of play to a degree. Here are the two full quotes to keep it completely honest. He is saying exactly was @LinvilleGorgeand others are on this thread. It's a concern, but doesn't mean he can't be successful or we should pass on his at 1. It is "absolutely" a concern though... "Is Bryce Young's height (5-10) a factor for the Panthers in evaluating the Bama quarterback for the top pick? Says Frank Reich: 'Absolutely that is a consideration. It's also a consideration...his playmaking ability, his accuracy and his leadership, his instincts.'" "Frank Reich said durability concerns more the discussion with Bryce Young than batted passes, etc. Not much data to look at with small QBs b/c there haven’t been many. Points to Barry Sanders and Marvin Harrison as 2 small non-QBs who instinctively avoided big hits." https://athlonsports.com/nfl/bryce-young-height-frank-reich-carolina-panthers
