  1. Honestly I think it’s better than we don’t compare the two. CJ Stroud was the gem of that draft class and the Texans got lucky. I just hope Young can develop into the QB we need him to be. I was ready to move on early in the year but something seems to have clicked with him which is promising. I hope he keeps it up and gets even better!
  2. I’m good with Hunter winning it. Him winning the best WR and best defensive player seems like a stretch to me though…

  4. He is trusting his pocket more and making plays from it. I’m not saying he will be the next franchise guy, but he is playing with confidence and isn’t afraid to step up in the pocket and attempt the big time throw we all were wanting him to do last year. Honestly it has me more optimistic about our HC than anything.
  5. So it’s a down year for passers AKA defenses are playing better against the pass with the 2 high. So Bryce is developing into a better passer in a year where defenses are playing better? I’m confused about the argument here?
  6. Umm ok but we are talking about recent play? I think Stroud is a great QB and if Young can get close to playing like him currently that’s a win IMO. Baby steps here.
  7. And Stroud is a 87.9. If he can get closer to Stroud it’s a win right? Look he is trending in the right direction. It’s encouraging. Hopefully he keeps it up and gets better.
  8. And he was cleared to keep playing…. That’s insane.
  9. I grew up liking UNC but switched to Auburn when I went there which I feel is fair. It was a very expensive way to switch teams…

  11. And Hurts was playing against our defense vs Young playing against the Eagles defense.
  12. Oh Maye has been great. I was being sarcastic and using that team stat people were using to judge another QB to show it’s flawed.
  13. Yeah but you get those same dumb passes with Beck back there. So passing is a wash with Stockton being able to run giving him the advantage.
  14. I think people who are just incapable of admitting they might have been wrong are running to the stats to try to preserve their original takes…
  15. Cool so no one thinks Drake Maye can be a franchise QB right? I mean his team is dead last. Also looks like Herbert is just 2 spots ahead of us so he clearly doesn’t have what it takes to be a franchise QB…
  16. Plus Stockton is a threat as a runner which really can open up an offense. He may make some mistakes because of inexperience but Beck was making those anyway.
  17. I’m thinking more of the hand injury he had against the Saints vs his college one.
  18. Isn’t XL playing with an injured wrist? I honestly think he will get his drops corrected. The man clearly worked hard on his route running this offseason and it looks to have paid off.
  19. Agreed. Even this past game look at Hurts stats paired with his supporting cast and the defense he played against. Do the same with Bryce and it’s pretty impressive. Hopefully he continues to get better.
  20. You keep throwing out the stats like it’s a negative or something. Look I gave up on the guy after week 2, but if he can turn it around I’m all for it.
  21. Neither QB had many yards. We slowed the game down to keep it close. You are hung up on stats without context. He wasn’t elite but he played well today. I think anyone could see that.
  22. You have to look at context and not just stats. Playing on the road against a solid defense and good team. Throwing to old AT, 4th round rookie TE, rookie XL, David Moore, and Deven Tompkins…. He played well all things considered. Props to our coach too for slowing down the game to keep it close.
  23. How did Hurts do against a very bad Panther’s defense?
