  1. You like local QBs. That’s great, but not a good rationale for drafting one over better options.
  2. He had 17.5 last year (very impressive) but only has 6 this year. A&M, and UT held him to 0 sacks 2.5 of them have come from Vandy… I seriously forgot he was even playing when I was watching the Tennessee game. Generational DEs are like Peppers and Garrett who you always notice every game. Anderson could be good, but not worth 1st overall to me.
  3. Anderson is small and got handled by Tennessee’s LT last week.
  4. You don’t think LSU’s all NFL roster outclassed their competition?
  5. He is probably my favorite candidate too. He has Hurts playing well in a system made for him. I think it’s a simple 2 year rebuild. Year 1 is ditching the bloated contracts, eating the dead money, hiring a young offensive minded coach, then drafting a young QB to develop. We have extra picks now to add some young pieces and in 2024 we have a ton of cap space to complete our roster and get ready to make a run.
  6. Imagine Burrow sitting there at 1 and a Bengal’s staff member saying “name one good QB from LSU?” Followed by a smug “I’ll wait…” lol Umm ok now let’s look at the actual player and what he does well.
  7. There have been 4 1st round OSU QBs drafted. One in the 1940s who died in war before playing, one in the 1980s, then Haskins, and Fields who is in year 2. So you are basing this on Haskins and the guy from the 80s?? Terrible logic. Oregon has Harrington and Mariotta, and I bet they are thrilled someone like you didn’t have them pass on Herbert because there were no good Oregon QBs. Do it again for LSU with Burrow, Mahomes with Texas Tech, Cam with Auburn, Manning with Tennessee and you can keep going on and on. So like I said, terrible logic. The school has nothing to do with the prospect.
  8. That’s a reasonable, rational thought. I can agree with that. People calling him a JAG really don’t understand what they are talking about.
  9. Saying it doesn’t mean poo honestly. CMC isn’t worth anything. See it’s dumb and pointless. Show some actual data why a 26 year who is the top 10 in sacks over the past 3 years isn’t worth anything. Why did a team offer 2 firsts for a player not worth anything?
  10. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-sack-last-3-seasons Looks like he is number 8 in sacks over the past 3 years. He also comes up 8th in tackles in that same group of pass rushers. So he is top 10 at sacks as tackles as an end/edge rusher and is 26 years old. People on here calling him a JAG lol… Oh and that’s with Snow dropping him into coverage on 3rd and long.
  11. Littleton got 10 out of our 69 tackles last week. Better not trade him because that 14.5% of our total tackles!
  12. Maybe we are ranked dead last in offense because our RB was 75%. If one person is 75% of a shitty product what does that make them?
  13. Oh you are still crying because our overpaid RB than hasn’t had a complete season in 3 years got traded away. I understand now…
  14. You don’t agree with the Panthers OR the team offering 2 firsts which is clearly a team in the playoff race. The Eagles signed Reddick who was great at sacks and not as good against the run, they seem to be doing ok right?
  15. Thankfully the league doesn’t agree with your “assessment” of pass rushers or Burns.
  16. Hating on a pass rusher who gets sacks as his “one trick” is like hating on a QB who throws TDs as his one trick.
  17. https://theathletic.com/3714498/2022/10/21/nfl-draft-2023-qbs/?amp=1 Good read about the top 3 QBs.
  18. https://theathletic.com/3714498/2022/10/21/nfl-draft-2023-qbs/?amp=1 Here is s good write up on the big 3.
  19. Just wait until he actually has an off game, which is bound to happen. Huddle is going to deem him a bust and freak out even more.
  20. Wait the Bama OL isn’t good now? I think this is a huge (no pun intended) misconception. When I watch Young play he usually has plenty of time, but then extends the play even longer with his legs. People see him getting “pressured,” but it’s usually after he has had 4-5 seconds in the pocket. The commentators were actually laughing about it during the MSU game. He had 8 real seconds to go through his reads then ran off to the left to buy 2 more of them. They put a timer up and it was 10 real seconds before he passed it. I don’t think he is getting that in the NFL. Alabama and Ohio Stare have great OLs, and OSU has an elite WR while Alabama has an elite RB. These are two of the top recruiting schools and both QBs have loads of talent around them. Young is just more of the backyard football player which could be a good or bad thing. He looks better when a play breaks down but does appear to love to leave the pocket (because of his size perhaps) and more times than not QBs need to stay in the pocket in the NFL.
  21. I definitely see us getting a vet as well. If we hire the Eagles OC I would imagine the QB room as rookie, Minshew, and Corral. They have 3 active QBs in Philly so he might bring the same philosophy here. I think they should hold on to Corral because of the potential, but I don’t see him taking reps from our top pick. We hopefully aren’t doing the Matt Rhule QB competition again…
  22. If Corral somehow defeats all odds and looks great, then we simply flip him or our top pick for a nice return and be grateful we finally have a franchise QB.
  23. The best edge rusher in the world is more valuable that a jag always injured RB. See I can say dumb things with nothing to back them up too.
  24. Trying to find the next Tom Brady is a dangerous game. Brady is just mentally on another level. The closest thing I’ve seen so far is Joe Burrow, but there is still obviously a big gap.
