  1. It reminds me a lot of the Dolphins trading for Josh Rosen. Traded a 2nd and a 5th I believe because Arizona was going with Murray. Didn’t really work out too well, but every situation is different...
  2. https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/30174871 Looks like Fields is vegan. Didn’t Cam start getting his injuries after he went vegetarian? Might be just a coincidence...
  3. Honestly I might be more concerned about Darnold’s college turnovers than his NFL ones due to his circumstances.
  4. Wouldn’t be against trading down before him. Don’t see a huge drop off to Horne, Newsome, Farley, and Samuel...
  5. Nice breakdown of Darnold. Interesting to see how bad Miami and NE had his number, but he wasn’t so bad against the rest of the league. That could even be Miami and NE knowing what Gase is going to do because he was too stubborn to adjust his game plan. Teddy has peaked and Darnold can still develop into something better. I’m just concerned he is going to keep us in the middle of the league unable to draft a top QB again next year, but I’ll gladly watch him over Teddy again...

  7. Falcons would make us pay dearly for their pick. Also I think Denver is below us at 9 unless they trade up.
  8. I’d be very happy with any of those 4. We just need Lance to get drafted ahead of us and one should fall to 8 with Lawrence, Wilson, Mac, and Lance being the other 4.
  9. It may be the best chance to trade down for a nice haul if he is.
  10. This might be too good to pass up. My initial thought is there is two good QBs next year in Rattler and Howell, but I don’t see us being one of the bottom two teams. The cost to move up to get one is ridiculous. The extra capital now in a deep draft is huge and we can package our two firsts to trade up next year if needed.
  11. Yep if a high valued QB became randomly available you know we would be all in on him. If Watson’s legal issues were proven to be illegitimate (don’t see this happening) and he was cleared we would be right back on board trying to get him. A future 2nd is a small sunk cost to upgrade your QB.
  12. Because our secondary was that bad.. these guys are at least capable. I think Bouye will be solid. He had some injuries and was getting a big salary plus had a down year. He looked legit in Jacksonville as the number 2 CB just a couple years ago.
  13. Sources are telling me we are just bypassing the draft to help make sure we get a top pick next year.
  14. Bouye, Melvin, and Jackson (being healthy) should help some. Plus Chinn and Pride having more experience.
  15. Neither at 8. Trade back then sure. I want an potentially elite high valued position at 8. Especially if 5 QBs go ahead of us.
  16. I’m warming up to Slater. He just needs to be a definite LT. I don’t want us drafting a Guard at 8...
  17. Yeah if a team is picking this high and doesn’t have an established franchise QB, they should always be considering drafting one, especially if one they like falls to them.
  18. You take Fields and let him compete. Honestly if there are 5-6 prospects our staff values high when we are up, then you look at trading down a few spots. We addressed a lot of needs (LT and QB are still shaky at best) in order to draft BPA/trade back if needed.
  19. He has a catchy name. I’ll give him that...
