  1. Some people think it's a bad idea to give one play that can have minimal impact on our record as shown by the past 5 years 30 plus million a year when we have so many holes in the roster right now. If we were in the playoff hunt and ready to contend then sure throw some money at a player than could push us over the edge vs competition. We are not there yet.
  2. At 1-6 that's not the worst idea. A lot of teams are in sell mode that have our record. It's also silly to not want any draft picks because we can't draft well. Fitt just has his first draft without Rhule and it's way to early to judge it, plus who knows if he will still be our GM or not.
  3. Yeah I’ve already told him I doubt the Lions trade him away. They are a playoff team and working on getting him involved in their offense. If he catches on, that offense could be deadly with St Brown, LaPorta, and Gibbs. They may trade away picks for a player, but I don’t think they are trading away talent at this point.
  4. No problem. I don’t know what we offered him, but it couldn’t have been much less than the Bears deal.
  5. Lol at people calling other fans fair weather this season. We are 1-6 and anyone still excited/supporting this team is pretty damn loyal IMO.
  6. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/gm-report/the-panthers-made-the-wrong-call-on-donta-foreman The Carolina Panthers offered running back D'Onta Foreman a contract last offseason but after Foreman turned the deal down, the Panthers decided to move on and instead, pay Miles Sanders a four-year, $25.4M contract. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/13/panthers-free-agency-offers-bradley-bozeman-donta-foreman/ According to Darin Gantt of Panthers.com, the team has already extended offers to center Bradley Bozeman and running back D’Onta Foreman. They are, obviously, considered top priorities for the organization this offseason.
  7. How are you all going to feel if we trade for Jeudy tomorrow?
  8. That’s how I remembered it. We offered deals to Foreman and Bozeman pretty early I believe.
  9. His rookie year he has over 900 yards and 6 TDs. That with rookie Burrow for only part of the season and 6 full games of Brandon Allen and Ryan Finley.
  10. Not a fan of the Lions helmets tonight.
  11. Our run defense better show up for the Colts or Taylor is going to absolutely crush us. I don't think think we have many "should be" wins with this current roster.
  12. That’s the most optimistic you’ve been all year! Look at you starting to come around…
  13. We are currently not in last place. 1-7 Cards haven’t had their bye week yet.
  14. Good point. The whole purpose of this season is to develop Bryce.
  15. Just gives you an idea of how bad our offense/QB play has been these past 5 years or so. Hopefully Young can get us back on the right track.

  17. Nah he will only get better with more experience. I think he can become our WR2 with AT holding down the slot. We need a WR1 still.
  18. You aren’t allowed to watch any more games this season.
  19. DK Metcalf? I think the combine sold him.
  20. The Panthers had 56 straight losses when trailing in the 4th. It was the longest streak since 1991. According to this article our last 4th quarter comeback was October 21st 2018 against the Eagles. Well today our new play caller and rookie QB finally put an end to this streak. Hopefully this can give us some confidence and something to build on. https://apnews.com/article/carolina-panthers-houston-texans-7d340c37724290f75ee114c90c9cb3e6
  21. Both young QBs are playing on incomplete rosters. I think Houston is in good hands with Ryans as your HC. I’m still not sold on our HC, but both young QBs have bright futures in this league.
