  1. He also wanted Icky moved to OG and in this offense he might be right.
  2. I have no problem with Tremble. He doesn't get many looks but he also doesn't draw any flags or drop many passes. Can't hate on him at all.
  3. 100% my fault. I meant to type Thomas. He is the one who dropped the TD. I'm sending Tommy an apology right now.
  4. Zero fumbles is always the goal especially in the red zone like last week. It looks like Young has 3 on the year which is around 9th in the league (he did miss a game too which probably estimates him to be at 4) and his pressured/hit number has to be towards the top with Zavala playing... You are right thought, we have to protect the ball especially in the red zone. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/player-stat/fumbles
  5. Between the back to back dropped TDs and these dumb OL meltdowns our redzone offense is a mess. Young's fumble and near int were awful but some what expected for a rookie. A vet TE and WR dropping TDs that are literally hitting them in the face are unacceptable. Constantly playing behind the sticks with false starts and Sanders running into our backup OGs might be the worst way to develop a QB.
  6. Yeah Zavala was his guy too due to his reaction when we drafted him.
  7. So Smith tells fans to relax and have some patience and suddenly he is Tepper's minion. JT does a film review and he doesn't always know what he is talking about (unless it's any other QB). We have someone post a play by play review with video evidence and shows some positivity and they are just trying to desperately salvage this situation. Regardless there is some progressions. Game 1- 52.6% 3.8 yards avg with 146 total yards. Game 2- 66.7% 4.6 avg 153 total yards. Game 3- 78.1% 6.4 avg 204 total yards. Ratings jumps from 48.8 to 87.1 to 93.2. Despite this terrible OG play and conservative play calling Young IS progressing.
  8. And the ones saying he was the best QB in the draft? You ignoring them?
  9. He destroyed a player Carolina traded for and talked poorly about their whole offense. I just don’t think he is going to become some PR guy for Tepper. Not sure he has it in him. He wanted Young so he is probably going to be defensive of him for a while.
  10. He just did last year when Baker was playing though. That’s my point. https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/nfl/2022/11/22/23473111/steve-smith-baker-mayfield-three-legged-donkey-panthers-nfl
  11. He was just calling out how bad Baker was last year immediately after their loss to the Ravens. Call him a “three legged donkey” and rambled about how bad they looked on offense. Smith doesn’t really care.
  12. I think it was. Got hit while releasing the pass. If that’s the case the under throw is a big nothing.
  13. Wasn’t that the play @TheCasillas showed Young getting hit as he threw it during his review?
  14. @LinvilleGorge @Ricky Spanish @Proudiddy @rodeo @CRA @rayzor Can we have a poll to bring back Juan?? I miss him….
  15. Pretty sure he is battling injuries and trying to run behind one of the worst OG tandems in the NFL currently.
  16. Great work @TheCasillas! These have become my new favorite weekly traditions.
  17. I think Shy can be serviceable as a DE. Maybe we can sign a legit DT next year and let him play his more natural position?
  18. Would we even use Puka correctly? He seems redundant to AT to me a little bit.
  19. It gets harder and harder to take some of these people seriously. They are literally contradicting themselves with some of these takes.
  20. https://www.essentiallysports.com/nfl-news-former-panthers-wide-receiver-shocks-nfl-world-after-calling-baker-mayfield-a-three-legged-donkey-and-rips-the-qb-after-loss-to-ravens/ He was just ripping into Baker last year right after he lost to the Ravens. He isn’t some damn Tepper puppet because he wants fans to be patient with Young a QB he backed the whole draft process. The person you are quoting isn’t the most reliable source either. People can have different opinions than you without being thrown into some Tepper boot locker category. That’s just not a good take IMO.
  21. It bounced off the guy’s face. Lol come on now. Favre got into the Hall of Fame drilling players with passes. He had one before that bounce off Thomas’s face. They need to get their damn hands up and make a catch. Even @LinvilleGorgesaid it was a good pass by Young.
  22. I mean NFL WRs should have no problem catching balls that are hitting their faces. Just hold your haves up to your face and keep running. Easy to keep your eyes on the ball too.
