What Sam is doing this year is crazy, but it's a pretty different situation. One was able to sit nearly his entire rookie season and is in his second year now. That can make a bigger difference than you think. That same player has a better OC, better weapons, and a better running game. Basically WR1, WR2, TE, and RB all favor Washington with our old slow WR beating their's. Even with all of that Howell is impressing the hell out of me and I wish we had drafted him. Imagine having Howell with CMC, and DJ Moore still plus all of our picks....

I'd argue making that trade with the roster they way it is makes the GM the center of the problem. If that person thought this was the right move and they continue to make these mistakes we are screwed. Burns/Rams trade decline to the Burns current situation, CMC trade, Including our only weapon in a trade to draft a QB, paying Hurst and Sanders large contracts for their position, passing on Stroud, struggling to draft well these past 2-3 years. A rookie QB struggling in this environment is exactly that.

You think Young is the center of our problems? We have so many you can literally take your pick. Tepper, Fitt, Reich, Injuries, Lack of Weapons, OL regression, no running game, dropped passes etc.... Young is an issue no doubt so the list is so long it's exhausting.

Everyone loves Luke and no one doubts his greatness on here. My favorite part is hating on Cam then complaining about Young's OL and weapons. Yeah we really gave Cam some elite LTs and WRs to work with. He had Olsen I will give you that, but outside of that not much else... You know TDs are very important right? I mean if you outscore your opponents you win every time. It's sad I have to even type that....

Yeah who cares about TDs and rushing yards??? Now do Young since they are equally disappointing.

You said Cam’s rookie season was just as unimpressive as Young’s. It’s VERY difficult to read anything else you are trying to say… I mean credibility is out the window.

That’s fair. Clausen was easy to move on from and landed us Cam.

Clausen also had 3 TDs to 9 INTs with a completion % of 52.5 his rookie year. Oh and his OL featured Gross, Wharton, and Kalil with Smith and Stewart as weapons. Young is struggling but Clausen was truly another level. No question about it though Young cost us a win last Sunday.

Carr is just a JAG QB. Nothing special. Yeah he is cheaper than Lamar for a reason, but I don't think anyone on here thinks he is great. People were concerned about Lamar's injury history and cost of his contract, but outside of that I don't think many will say Carr is better than Lamar.

Who the hell loves Carr? I also see a lot of people pissed we didn't go for Lamar when he was tagged and I agree.

I see him hoping up on his tip toes as he drops back but I haven't noticed him throwing from them. I honestly think he does that to see the field.

I mean he was cut from the Chiefs who have WR issues as well.

Also we will hire a new HC. Which HC would want to coach Sanders in the NFL? Prime! If we keep playing this horribly, I'd be ok with promoting Deuce to HC and letting Reich go. Give him 2024 to show us something and in 2025 we can do a full reset if needed.

Without a doubt. They would have traded Fields for picks and drafted the Luck/Lawrence QB.

I mean no one matched our offer which wasn’t a huge amount for a top QB pick. For example if the top pick is available this year (with Caleb or Maye) or when Lawrence was in the draft you would see a lot more action and a lot more compensation.

It was reported (whether people believe draft reports or not) that some GMs had Young completely off their draft boards due to his size. I mean it did seem more than not had him at number 1, but who knows the truth. Like you stated no chance all 32 had him at the top or there would have been a bidding war.
