  1. Yeah it's definitely a positive. He wanted to work with his teammates and get better instead of the big PR stunt of the Manning Academy. I like that in a QB.
  2. I think it was just late reporting. Probably from back when we were trying to make our decision. @BlackPanther22 cleared it up.
  3. He was over 100 TDs to 41 INTs with a completion % of 66.8 was OROTY and has already been to several Pro Bowls in 4 years. 16052 total yards and 107 TDs in 57 games. He also received a new contract after his rookie one. I'm not saying he has lived up to his potential, but he was definitely shown success as a starting QB in the league. Just look at how bad the NFC QBs are.
  4. Recently that has changed. Lamar, Cam, Burrow, and Kyler all found success. Catch up with the times!
  5. Yeah we are. Drafting AR and assuming we can turn him into a Josh Allen could be just as rare though. I think our staff will get some weight on Young. The height will be the issue.
  6. You could make an argument for it helping recently with Jackson, Burrow, Cam, and Murray but back in the day it more associated with QBs struggling in the NFL.
  7. Does putting up great numbers at OSU guarantee success? Let’s dive into that too. -joking
  8. Yeah if he drops over this poo man is he going to have a chip on his shoulder. It will be like Rodgers when he dropped.
  9. Aw come on. The odds of that happening are so slim. Just let him have his moment if it does.
  10. The whole not having a father available through his teenage years was the dumbest poo I've ever read. Anyone heard of Lebron James? He did ok without his dad being available....
  11. Well no need to even watch the draft. Thanks for clearing it up!
  12. If we can land him at 39 I will be thrilled! I just don't see him dropping like that. He is the best route runner in the class right?
  13. Being right is better. If he is wrong after this much commitment he might just lay low for a while. If he is right there will be so many threads lol! It will be fun either way.
  14. If it somehow is Stroud it will be entertaining to see @PanthersGOATFan336 taking a victory lap while taunting just about all of us. Stroud/Young is really a win/win.
  15. Seriously, why are we bringing JSN in for a visit? Are there rumors of him dropping because he didn't play much last year?
  16. I highly doubt this happens, but it is interesting that we want to bring in JSN for a pre-draft visit........
  17. If it is 2 and 12 you could pair Stroud and JSN. If it is 2 and next year's first we could have a shot at Stroud with MHJ. Both are complete pipe dreams, but that is what several Stroud fans want I believe.
  18. I think you throw the point chart out the window when you are talking QBs. If we were to do it (which I doubt) pick 33 and 2 would be the lowest and I’m not sure that gets it done. Next years first or pick 12 would make more sense but Houston isn’t doing that.
  19. Oh yeah just using his own flawed logic against him. I like Stroud a lot. He was actually my preference, but both are great prospects.
  20. https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401403921 Young loss to UT 52-49. I’m mainly just trolling back a troll. I like Stroud a lot but if we can criticize Young for missing the playoffs (due to that 49-52 loss) we can also mock Stroud for losing games where his defense failed him.
