He put up 41 points against the top defense in the nation and let them on a GWD in which the kicker missed the FG. It's a great game to reference.

His star WR got hurt (couldn’t finish the game) and the other was injured most of the year and didn’t play. He still led them in FG range to win it. It was a longer FG, but he can’t control that it was missed. If you don’t like him I understand, but this would be a tough game to criticize…

That offense has so much potential. If we could get Lance for our lower 2nd (basically giving it back to SF) it would be so tempting. Lance, Brissett, and Corral could be a nice QB room.

So if we draft one in the first two rounds they should play over Corral because draft position? -

Wilks signed Eason to a roster spot as interim HC. It could just as easily be signing a QB Wilks was familiar with. -
They have some pieces. As much as I hate Sean Payton, he will probably have them competing. I'm just happy he has to play against Herbert and Mahomes for the next 10 years.

You don't mean that. It's the alcohol talking... -

I hope no one seriously hates Corral. I think some of us just don't want him being a factor in drafting/signing one because that is a big gamble. -

Ridder and Strong (undrafted) were dressed in the same picture. -

You like Corral? -
He has 5 years of Darnold tape to look at and see he isn't the answer.

So I'm looking into the Colts last year with Reich as HC. They were 3-3-1 before Irsay jumped in and made him start Ehlinger loosing the next 2. They beat the Chiefs (best AFC team), Denver (terrible), split with the Jags (playoff team), loss to the Commanders by 1, and the Titans 19-10 (they were solid with Tannehill). The tie was week 1 against the Texans. Saturday steps in and beats the Raiders (oh yeah Matt Ryan is allowed to play again for Saturday) then loses the next 7 including a loss to the Texans at the end. So even at the worst we had them at 500 before the owner stepped in. That's playing Ryan with a terrible OL... The same team that Saturday goes 1-7 with.

Yeah it's not worth the waste of a season to find out. If he does he shouldn't have a problem beating out a rookie and vet during the season. -

I'll say this... I am almost certain we are drafting a QB, but if there is anyone that can help Corral develop and become the guy against all odds (1st round QB competition, injury, old coach's draft pick) it's Reich. Corral can possibly develop into a backup turned starter and that's something Reich is pretty familiar with. -
I don't understand how anyone can be that upset about the hire. He wasn't my first choice, but he is definitely more than qualified and seems like a good person.

Are you talking about a specific year for the Colts team or a total over his years as the HC?

He definitely has some work to do as a passer but if we had Brissett to play until he is ready and Reich paired with Brian Johnson (who worked with AR at Florida) I would feel pretty good about him developing into something. -

I was joking. That's a traditional relationship that has worked for many teams in this league. -

Seriously if we can't go up and draft Stroud with a reasonable offer, then we should roll with AR at 9. Sign Brissett and let me start until AR is comfortable enough to start playing some packages. Imagine Reich and company developing a talent like AR. -

What a strange concept?? GM controlling the roster and coach controlling who plays? How weird... -
He is just stating he should know the offense. Assuming it’s a variation of what he previously ran.
