Really early still, but I do like how they are trying to build a NFL offense and not get cute and cater some unique one just for Bryce. Hopefully these young guys develop and they have a foundation they can build on.

Cam Ward.....opinions (AKA A Thread About Shedeur Sanders)
ForJimmy replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ewers might have a harder schedule but he has a loaded team. Miami doesn’t have the talent that Texas does. The season will tell the story though. They expanded the playoffs this year. I think Ewers probably has the higher floor but lower ceiling. -

If Ward keeps playing like he is, he won’t make it out of the first IMO. -

That’s not what bothers me. Throwing your teammates under the bus in front of the press was the biggest red flag to me. Be a leader and own it if you want to be the QB. Cam was flashy and cocky avid he is my favorite player. -

So we can’t use his father but you are using him to side step his negatives? His dad unfortunately is part of his evaluation. -

He has talent no doubt. It’s the calling out the old players when he arrived, the blaming his OL when he addresses the media, refusing to shake hands with the opposing QB after he beat him. It’s all very immature and in but sure how it works with grown men at the next level. I know you keep going back to people not liking his dad, but I’m pretty sure you are only hyping him up because of his dad. Having Hunter as a weapon is like a cheat code too btw… -

That would be on the coaches then. Tell him to talk to his dad… -

Miami has elite OL play? Didn’t Colorado go all in on OL this offseason? -
Especially since the best we would get is a 4th. You are better off just leaving him on the roster.

Jordan Fuller to IR (hamstring), Demani Richardson to the main roster
ForJimmy replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Scott (Fuller’s backup) was on the Bengals last year. Hopefully he knows their playbook well! -
How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?
ForJimmy replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Taylor built that roster and brought there franchise up. I doubt they move on from him after 1 bad season, but who knows. Also Callahan leaving for the Titans might have hurt them more than we thought... -
I'd throw Allar in that QB mix as well.

How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?
ForJimmy replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel like the Bengals offense might expose our defense. It helps that it's at home but the Bengals are in a situation where they HAVE to win. 0-4 pretty much means no playoffs... -
I'd imagine most teams are in a similar situation though. Good OL are hard to come by and few teams have decent depth there.

BC could be ok there and Raym is at least a natural center.

I hope Lewis is good to go this week...

Is it to early to revisit the Corral vs Malik Willis debate?
ForJimmy replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
To discus QBs in the past drafts and how they translated in the NFL. Could be very relevant to us soon. -

I feel like DC was a Morgan hire. They worked together in Seattle. -
Ochocinco offers an Apology to the Team and to Panthers Fans
ForJimmy replied to Butterflyj30's topic in Carolina Panthers
I want the players/analysts that went off on a rant about how badly we screwed Bryce Young by giving him no talent and no coaching to admit they had a bad take. When an old vet shows up on the road and is the first QB to throw over 300 yards and 3 TDs this year it shows me that we have enough talent for our QB to show SOMETHING. I still think 6 wins is our peak, but our offense has enough talent to score some points this year. -

He is a former player giving his opinion. He admitted he was wrong which is rare these days. I'll give credit where it's due and he is due some for that IMO. -

Alex Smith you are up next. -
I think Dalton would be expensive because of his voided years? That's what I was told by someone who knows more about that cap than I do.

Icky threw some guy to the ground too on a running play. This OL looks to be legit and Corbs is making the center transition look easy!
