  1. I’d be happy with Howell or Pickett. Corral would be intriguing and if we go with Willis he would need to sit a year IMO.
  2. If that did happen it shouldn’t affect his career at all. Aaron Rodgers broke his several years ago. Having him sit out the rest of the season would prevent him from getting any serious injuries before the draft.
  3. It’s ok, he likes it. I know that for a fact.
  4. If he can’t he is gone. Tepper brought in a capable QB and if the offense still sucks it’s on Brady.
  5. If he plays solid we can draft more of a project like Willis and give him a year or two to develop. Maybe even trade down in the draft and select a rookie QB with a later draft pick. This is all assuming Cam agrees to a 1-3 year reasonable contract.
  6. Oh my bad, I was thinking he was a one year rental. Makes a little more sense why we didn’t trade him…
  7. DJax, Bouye, and Gilmore’s contract are up this year. If they are confident in him we might be rolling with him, Horn, and Taylor next year.
  8. I wonder if that has changed halfway through the season?
  9. Imagine what our defense would be if they could actually rest with our offense extending plays, or didn’t have to defend short fields from offensive turnovers. Our defense is very talented this year, especially with Gilmore back there and Shaq getting healthier.
  10. Very valid points. I was never upset with them moving on from Cam and saving $20 million. They did it too late in the offseason (probably wanted to see if they could sign a decent QB first) and kind of screwed Cam over in signing on a new team. The stupidity comes with the Teddy contract and picking up Sam’s fifth year. We should have kept Teddy and drafted Fields to learn behind him. I know hindsight makes it easy to say these things, but half of this board was wanting something similar and concerned about the whole Darnold deal…
  11. Yeah we shouldn’t out right cut him. He stays unless some team is stupid enough to trade for him and take on some of that contract which I don’t see happening…. If Cam plays serviceable and we sign him for another year and draft a rookie, do we still let Darnold keep a roster spot? That’s when it can get a little iffy, but we would probably roll with all 3.
  12. Yeah let’s learn from history. Look at Cam’s history which includes a league MVP and Super Bowl appearance, now look at Darnold’s which includes constantly being in the bottom in QB performance. Moving on from a QB that has proven he can play in this league is a lot different than moving on from one who was proven he can’t. I’m not saying this version of Cam will answer any of our problems, but Darnold is certainly not the answer.
  13. You always have terrible takes. I’m 90% sure you’re a troll account…
  14. Yeah it’s an instant upgrade at the most important position. We should have made the move earlier and beat the Giants and Patriots.
  15. Nah, but hopefully we are watchable now. There is no QB in this draft wiry a top 10 pick anyway. We need a Howell, Pickett or another later in the first. We don’t have many picks outside of that to worry about.
  16. This move seems like Tepper came in and made the call. Sells tickets, gets the fans excited and shows Rhule might have a tighter leash on roster moves. I bet they draft a QB this draft….
  17. No he is quite proud of that. I know that for a fact.
