  1. Nah, he still has to be above it. Some jawing would be perhaps understandable but responding physically as he did (in a general sense) in this setting especially for anything less than an actual hand-to-hand attack on him/his sphere where a potential assailant need to be mitigated is unacceptable. Is it fair? Perhaps not. But an NFL/sports owner, or really anyone in a very prominent position like that, just simply can't be that thin-skinned, and Tepper has no goodwill left anyway. Plus, throwing a drink is such a b1tch move by most anyone... dude screwed up royally and deserves all the heat he gets.
  2. And now doubling and tripling down on it. Truly an impressive effort to kick off the New Year.
  3. Wtf does that have to do with anything? Pretty sure anyone and everyone agrees that an owner of an NFL team/sports team/etc shouldn't be throwing drinks at fans. Tossing this comment out in this context may be one of the most moronic posts I've seen on the site. That's an impressive feat.
  4. Truth, but Tepper has to be above it. Unsurprisingly, he seems to be confirming that he isn't.
  5. I want to see him do it in the playoffs this year. Hope he does.
  6. As someone that pays little to no attention to college FB, I feel like the hyperbole around the top QB prospects always goes nuts these days. It's not just Trevor.
  7. It's illegal to acknowledge factors that can help his performance.
  8. But their RAS will be incredible.
  9. No, we commented about the lackluster 1st quarter and 1st half in general while also giving him some deserved credit for the second half. Some folks were just too busy crowing for whatever reason to notice.
  10. Led to Carolina drafting Thomas Davis, aka the Vick Killer. Worth it, though that SNF game in 2004 where Carolina lost in OT still Burns me.
  11. In Bryce's defense (sort of), Carolina has a long and stories history of making backups look like All-Pros.
  12. He'd probably be getting more, as expectations would be even higher if he had ideal physical traits.
  13. November 2002... Atlanta shut Carolina out twice in 2002.
  14. And tries to pick it up instead of just diving on it.
  15. I hope the 'off-platform' buzzword dies a horrible death.
  16. There was nowhere else to really go on that one, maybe somebody on that short backside slant-type.route. Looked Reich-esque.
  17. Low and away is 'in the bread basket' now? Interesting. I'm not even all that picky about that throw - it was the mi ssed TD throw that changed the course of that drive.
  18. Wasn't great, no. But on a 4th down he has to chuck it somewhere. That diving drop before it was on the money though.
  19. Chark... oy. As our receivers coach used to scream at us, 'You make just one of those catches and you're a superstar! Instead, you just left crap out there.'
  20. Yup. Better placement and that's a walk-in TD. NFL receiver should still make that catch though.
  21. First 1st down since the opening drive... good god.
  22. Burns being the most visible and active that he's been in many weeks.
