I mean, I am repulsed by it, but Canales does turn it around pretty quick. I always put myself in other peoples shoes, and I feel like, do they even know/care about who the linebacker coach is right now? But it will probably mean something to them down the road when they establish that relationship and reflect back on the night, so I tolerate it. I am just thankful he has been less involved as far as we can tell lately, and it seems to be paying off with our PFF A+ grade for this draft.

Falcons just double dipped on edge and one of those being Jalon Walker who might be a little sore he didn't end up in Carolina. They are the dirty birds for a reason. Investing in taking out Bryce early could be their game plan. I would like to stop him from getting destroyed.

He definitely did. I feel that is a good thing given the scenario. We have to give Bryce everything we can for him to succeed. After this season, we have to know whether or not he is our Franchise QB. I like taking this no excuses approach so it removes all doubt. If Bryce can't put it together this year, we will be forced to start looking again. I would rather there be no doubt. I don't want another scenario where a QB leaves here and is magically doing better. Invest in him like he is our guy until he proves he is not.

I doubt it. Usually the price required to trade up to 8 is big, and we have made it obvious we want to trade down. Not enough QB interest to make the move worth it for someone to barter with us. Next years picks have the perception of being more valuable due to this draft class.
