I'm curious about Brett Kollmann. I'm not sure he got any beyond #1 but then again I'm not watching 3 hours of mock draft video to see how bad he was again. I think he purposely doesn't publish his picks in a way where it can easily be graded.

You know who it is.

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/mock-drafts/2021/consensus-mock-draft-2021 The consensus mock pick at 3 was Mac Jones. The consensus mock also only got 7 of the first round. Mocks are useless beyond entertainment.

Kuechly is a pro scout who helps prepare for upcoming opponents.

Simms was hardly the only one. Have you looked at the assortment of mocks? Half + had the same prediction as Simms. They're hardly worth a reaction as a whole.
-
Especially when they all suck equally at predicting the draft.

Yes

I have no confidence in Slye that's all I know. He was a decent last minute patch but needs to improve or be replaced.
-
Seems as good or better than others I'm looking at. Daniel Jeremiah got 5. Kiper 6. It's a waste of energy to look at mock drafts as anything but a time killer.

Truth About Day 1 and Day 2 of the Draft

Yeah that made no sense. We had already traded down our first pick of the second day. Mond, as you said, was taken after that. -
Tremble was projected to be a 3rd round selection and was. Everyone makes these claims about a guy being available later but don't attempt to look at the actual projections.
-
What did we actually gain with the trading down

A lot of the players the staff wanted. I wouldn't overthink it. -

I was reacting to the most recent post where you listed them again but without Moore. Sorry -

Don't forget the UDFA guard out of Grambling, Moore. -
There is a reason most teams had Smith off their boards completely and lesser prospects like Cole Van Lanen, Royce Newman, Larry Borom went ahead of him. I'm surprised nobody seems interested in looking in to why In the end we got a guard with an identical prospect grade. Think a little and stop looking at mock drafts as your only source of knowledge on these players.

What in the everloving fruit of the loom croissant butter is this?
Moo Daeng replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
One can disagree but pretending Toomers of all people knows more about what Rhule and Fitterer want more than they do is absurd. Fitterer is a respected 24 year NFL scout and Toomers is a message board whiner. -
It's weird that it took such a talent search to get somebody to start threads. Are the other mods who live on the Huddle that untrustworthy?

This is one sad internet fight. Holy Cow. -
Who were the pleasant surprises from last year?

On offense our receivers stood out I thought. On defense the obvious standouts were Burns and Chinn with promising starts from Brown and flashes from YGM. I'd like to move on from Slye and happy we moved on from Boston -
He won't save a million but about 600,000 as the replacements salary will be about 660,000 according to a low end estimate of 6th round draft picks. That doesn't sound like a convincing reason by itself.
