  1. Looks like you favor moving back as realistically none of them make out of the top 5.
  2. It's like the GM says, "hey scouts, what would be the top 3 stupidest things to ruin our draft?" They say, don't do a,b,c." GM says "Great! love the input, so we drat players a,b,c." Scouts say, "Wait, I thought you said things we SHOULDN'T do?" GM to scouts, "okay, have a nice day."
  3. This is one of the few drafts I can think of recently where the depth is much better than the scant amount elite players at the top of the board. That being said, who has be be gone prior to #8 where you are saying, trading back is just as attractive of an option as BPA? To me it's: -Graham -Carter -McMillan After that, to me (Jeanty aside whom we will not draft) players aren't moving the needle much more than the next prospect for several picks. I'm cool with moving back several picks and getting one of the next cluster of Edge guys.
  4. Dude, you know the Panthers are suckers for one-year wonders with high RAS scores. It's like catnip to our front office. Who needs a player with 2-4 years of solid production with a meh RAS score? I mean, who wants a bikini model with pointy elbows, right? We end up with the chick in the low lit club who looks super hot at 2am only to wake up the next morning hung over to see her without the fake eyelashes, wig, layers of makeup and her wonder bra, girdle, padded panties and a pair of spanx on the bedroom floor. Yeah, that's who we are as an organization.
  5. Yes, Brooks will be shelved all season or at least should be. We need more than Chuba, FA bust Sanders and some randos. Spend FA money elsewhere and get a dude on a rookie deal to split time/back up Hubbard.
  6. No way Carter falls to #8 minus an injury or subpar workouts. The top Edge guy dosen't fall to the back of the top 10.
  7. First round talent yes, but worthy to be the first QB off the board? Not in a normal class, however he will be this April.
  8. That was a red flag coming out of college. Dudes can be extremely athletically gifted, but if their heart isn't in it, all that size, speed and talent is completely pointless.
  9. At #8, yes, but in a significant trade back...
  10. McCord is my dark horse for best QB in this class. He would be a day 3 in an average draft class, but since this one is particularly bad, he could go as high as the 2nd round. So much so, I've given up on a day 3 flyer pick for him because he won't be there.
  11. Watson and Tucker can swap out their professional services contact lists.
  12. Yes, but you can find better production for what he was getting paid. Dudes on minimum contract can do better.
  13. The last time I told Ian Thomas to get steppin', the Panthers gave him a brand new contract.
  14. Oh no, not the second round! The poor kid will cursed.
  15. I like a different Higgins, WR Higgins out of Iowa Sate if we can't grab T-Mac in round 1.
  16. T-Mac's NFL comp strikes as Mike Evans, but a more agile and 'loose' version.
  17. Hey, at least opposing RBs have to run around him rather than straight up the gut.
  18. It does show that "retreads" are not all that bad. It depends who the retread is. If for whatever reason Canales doesn't work out, there will be people writing off any dude with previous HC experience outright, which is stupid.
  19. Eh, it depends if he's any good or not depending on how the conversation is framed around Bryce Young.
