  1. FIFY. I wasn't one of them, by the way, and I have the receipts to prove it. While Teddy failed our expectations, he is a legit backup. Chances were if we let him go for peanuts, someone would bite. Denver was the likely choice and they made it happen.
  2. I would say three unless we move back in the first or second rounds to get another top 100 pick, then I would say four. I'm thinking CB and OT for certain, possibly QB. The long shot being DT and that's only if we forego a QB in the first two rounds.
  3. I wasn't reading 22 pages to see if this had been mentioned, but this is a HIGH 6th rounder for Teddy. We lost a comp pick 6th for Darnold. This is essentially like a comp 5th rounder as only 6 teams pick ahead of us at the top of the round compared to next to last in the comp section of the round. It's a difference of like 35 selections, which is equivalent to an entire round.
  4. What does your gut tell you? It's going to be tight. I'm thinking the push (6) will win out honestly.
  5. Man, I need to crank out another mock now we another pick! A second selection at corner or picking a third O-lineman.
  6. Exactly and we get our 6th back for Darnold.
  7. Weinke and Beuerlein, easy.
  8. He's our 2nd rounder if we don't get a corner in the first and he's still available at #39.
  9. Okay, one is Randy Fasani, the other the kid from Louisville ( he was partially deaf) LaFlour? and the other Damian Craig? I didn't cheat. If I'm right, sweet!!! If I'm wrong, oh well... I took a stab at it.
  10. You too? How about Chuck Smith? That cured me of ever wanting us to sign Falcons' cast-off FAs. I mean, I called the Dontari Poe bust based on that dubious criteria alone.
  11. Deablo is a 3rd/4th. Th South Carolina kid...5th/6th. The rest, yeah, late rounders.
  12. No way Newman drops to the 6th/7th. Buechle/Ehinger are fringe UDFA just like Franks.
  13. How about I pick one from most posotion groups? FB- Ben Mason-Michigan SWR-Smith South Carolina OLB/Edge-Koonce-Buffalo C-Jimmy Morrissey-Pittsburgh OG-Kreamer-Notre Dame OT-Van Lanen-Wsconsin TE-Angeline- NC State RB-Patterson-Buffalo QB-Franks-Arkansas DE-Sample/Jackson (Tulane/Coastal Carolina) DT-Tonga/Brown (BYU/Texas A&M/OLB-Stevens-LSU CB-Taylor/Gown-(Washington/Central Florida) S/OLB-Stevens-LSU
  14. Gone before the 5th, bank on it. You don't find 6"4' with 4.4 speed often.
  15. Really? McNeill was one of the guys you didn't have a 3rd round grade on? Like R-E-A-L-L-Y????????? I had a cusp 2nd/3rd on him. Not sure how much research you have done on him, but he's like he 2nd NT off the board. He's THE BEST pass rushing NT in the class.
  16. TEs are overrated, especially if your QB is on his back.
  17. Compared to the 70's and 80's? Dude, I finally toned down my threads in the 90's, lol!
  18. It may have been the mid-90's when those debuted, but I guarantee you those uniforms came from renderings out of the late 80's. I have no doubt. The 80's was about big, bold and loud...not so much the 90's.
  19. Yep, since February...2019. Found him while scouting for last draft. I knew we would be picking somewhere around #10, give or take a few selections (predicted a 6-10 season). So my hopes were high that we would be in range to get him since Bridgewater was just that. What I didn't anticipate was us ditching Teddy after just one season and having to immediately replace him. That's where my Lance hopes started to fade. I knew Trey had to 'red shirt' one season. Once we got Darnold, my focus turned to LT, just as yours did. Now, If Sewell is gone, I still wouldn't mind Lance. Right now I'm at--in order as they are available to us: 1-Sewell 2-Lance 3-Slater 4-Trade back for a corner
  20. Yet another guy that has Lance rated higher than Fields. People can't keep acting like it's some sort of outlier. Fields fan-boys can't wrap their heads around it.
  21. Uh, have you seen my avatar? Still clinging to a sliver of hope it may happen, but only if Sewell is gone. As much as I would like Lance in a Panthers' uniform, with Darnold here, LT is priority unless he's already been drafted.
  22. I don't think there is a drastic difference in the top few CBs and personally feel it's a slight reach if we take one at #8. I makes little sense to me. Get the LT in the first and circle back in the second round for the corner.
