I guess he can only go to like 4 teams if he is looking for a truly elite QB. Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, or Bengals. He probably could be the featured WR with the Chiefs or Ravens so I guess that moves it down to 2 teams

The Texans hit on a QB and coaching, that was what turned them around. Sure Dell and Anderson were nice pieces, but they would still suck ass if they hired Reich, drafted Bryce, and kept everything else the same.

It is pretty hard to trade a free agent. The time to trade Burns was 2 years ago but Fitt fuged that up. We could have traded him again at last years trade deadline but again refused. The only options now are sign him to a long term contract, franchise tag him, or let him walk. The only way I see us getting any worthwhile draft capitol for him is by signing him to a deal and paying a good chunk of his salary and then trading him.

You guys steadily trashing the OL like it was a leagues worst unit. Back over here in reality where Bryce and the entire offense fuging sucks, he had 2.5 seconds of pocket time the same damn amount as Patrick Mahomes, you know the guy who just hoisted his 3rd lombardi. The difference is Bryce was sacked 62 knocked down 50 times and hurried 38 times. Mahomes was only sacked 27 times but he was knocked down 65 times and hurried 60 times. Some of Bryce sacks obviously fall on nobody being open because of the terrible scheme and weapons we trotted out, but lets not act like he didnt have NFL pocket time. Bryce needs to realize he is never going to get Alabama pocket time in the NFL even if we had Phillys OL. This is why Canales is talking about getting the ball out fast because thats what NFL offenses require.

I think 99% of us already figured that out. Bryce doesnt have the physical talent to be anything more than a game manager. Canales however had to boost Bryce up and act like he likes him to get the job, Tepper was not ready to admit his mistake yet.

I would be scared to death to commit anything substantial to a guy like that. He wont even put in the work to show he belongs in the same contract range as the Bosas and Garretts, he just wants us to take his word for it. What happens when he gets the $ he wants? Does he check out completely? We are in a lose/lose situation. You either tag him and take the half assed effort or let him walk for nothing. Nobody is trading anything worthwhile for him on the franchise tag the ship has sailed on getting assets in return.

So you are willing to pay ~10% of the cap for an outside speed rush move that more often than not whiffs on the QB. Nobody gives two shits if he is "winning" his pass rush just to miss on the sack after the QB steps up to easily avoid him. Oh yeah he also sucks fuging ass against the run, he isnt a leader as he is playing not to get hurt. Too many red flags to pay him like an elite cornerstone. We dont just pay him now because we missed out on draft compensation for him. At this point we have to franchise him or let him walk. You dont reward a guy for that bullshit he put on the field last season.

fug that dont just hand guys like Burns blank checks because the cap went up. Franchise tag his ass he isnt worth more than 20m per with his on field play so far.

RW thinks way too highly of himself to ever sign on any team for cheap, much less the current worst team in the NFL. I don't want him anyway, he is a total diva.

How many impact players have we added since Brown? Herbert hasnt won poo yet, hasnt even been the best QB from his draft, hell you could put him as the 3rd best qb from his draft. He has been better than our QBs but he hasnt been a world beater. Teddy also gave us our best QB play post Cam but that isnt saying a whole lot and it still was a dumb ass move. The correct play was to ride Grier to the #1 pick but they screwed that up.
