  1. I’m surprised we didn’t think $12M per year was worth it
  2. This is awesome and exactly what I'd hope we'd do. We are putting Bryce in best situation we can this year so we know next Jan if he is our guy or not. If he is, we have some really good cap figures in 2025 to try and make a splash. Like what FO has done so far
  3. they're long term. they all have 2025 big savings, seems this year they are going for seeing if Bryce is the guy then making some big moves in 2025
  4. would imagine that is BC at LG, and a FA or #33 at C... I don't hate it assuming Ickey can get his poo together this year
  5. hopefully front loaded and an out after year 3. lets see what Morgan and the FO did here
  6. So we 100% need 2024 front loaded FA for 2 of the 3: C, G, WR... Assuming we draft 1 of those 3 positions at 33. Will be interesting to see what we do over the next week.
  7. Something about the huddle website just destroys my CPU on both my PC running chrome and my Mac running Safari. Same thing also on iOS Safari. Does anyone else have this issue, and if so is there an easy fix? I already have an adblocker but it still uses a crazy amount of CPU specifically only to this website. Any suggestions?
  8. Bucs had the worst run game in the league last year. I know that because I remember being happy when we hired Canales but having some real concern about that
  9. It’s wild lol I don’t get it either. He always somehow sticks around
  10. I was here a month ago, I’d go 28 with the cap increase. I just think he’s gonna be hard headed and try to play a card that if a DT is getting 31 he should get at least 30
  11. Didn’t he not miss a start from like HS through 55 first NFL starts? I think he just had an unlucky run there at the end last season
  12. with the cap increase, that's a very solid deal for both sides.
  13. Using the term “kicking the can down the road” implies this is a negative that we are trying to put off. Moton is a good player. This is just us extending him and saying you’re 30 and a great RT who we want to be here long term. I really don’t see the issue here
  14. That’s really more of an issue with crap or aging players. I’m actually pretty good with this since Moton is most likely here long term.
  15. I like burns and with the cap increase feel pretty good about giving him 28M if he will meet there in the middle… but yeah if you can get Jamo + whatever guard/wr we take with their 29th that feels like a no brainer. There will be really good guards and WR both at 29 and 33. we would need a DE but I’d feel better addressing that in FA for a 1-2 year guy. We have to focus on the offensive weapons and interior of the line as priority #1
  16. Yeah the cap going up changes my opinion on this. I’ve always looked at it as a percentage… if 28M per year (no incentives just salary) is the same % wise now as it was 3 days ago at 23M then pay Burns.
  17. He is Chris Jones level. Does all the things that changes games that you’d never know. Pay that man
  18. https://sports.yahoo.com/steve-wilks-fired-as-49ers-defensive-coordinator-after-one-season-it-just-ended-up-being-not-the-right-fit-200934699.html
  19. Man I don’t know. Rhule was bad but Frank was awful. It’s hard to say which was worse, and they both had Shitterer as GM
  20. maybe linville can make a sister safe space to the positive vibes thread that is only for the same 4 posters who spam bryce comparison pics and obsess over his weight
  21. Question: why would this happen after the draft? Seems it would be imperative you get your new scouting team in place before the draft as to not “waste” another draft. Unless there just isn’t enough time to do that transition in Feb
  22. I think you're purposely missing the point here. Even in this thread (and it isn't the first one) huddlers kind of call you out on power tripping as a mod and you double down. It's whatever, but it drives people away from here.
