    Interesting strategy by the Texans. Seems they might be thinking he had a great year 1 and a sophomore slump. Let’s see if he can be “the guy” year 3 without a stacked roster. If he is, they pay him record contract, if he’s mid they get leverage to negotiate a smaller deal then have money to go do more on the OL later

    Holy poo. These kind of guys in their prime just do not hit the market often. You HAVE to go get this done. I don’t want to hear anything about cap, you go figure that out and make it work. Go get him Dan. Metcalf makes our offense playoff caliber. Only thing we’d need in the draft is a late round RB to go with Chubba. Can focus everything else on defense.

    I'm not sold on TE at 8 but I do agree with you. You really gotta think about him as a WR as well. He is a special type and would instantly give us the red zone threat we do not have

    Disagree. He reminds me so much of Curtis Samuel with his drops. That dude worked his ass off in the off season and ended up one of our more reliable hands WR his contract year before he left.

    Wonder if there’s any chance of us paying BC low end starter RT money and then keeping Moton this year and BC takes over next year and we structure it between those 2 where basically over the next 4 years it is about the same as 1 tackle (since we’d get rid of a ton of Motons hit in 2026)
