  1. Yep 100% agree. I like Evero a lot (and hope he is our DC next year) but I am glad we're not giving up a potential third round pick just because we want to make everyone happy. Fug that, you're under contract, we want you back, and we get a potential 3rd in a year. Why in the world would we just let him walk to JAX?
  2. Fair enough, had no idea what his contract looked like when I wrote that. I’m all for keeping him
  3. If you can get good value for Moton I agree trade him, if not I'd like to see Icky slide in to LG freeing up BC to play LT. Roll with Boze and Corbett another year, draft and develop a future RT. BC coming back opens up a lot of options, I'd like to see us aggressively pull another very strong guard in FA however
  4. Would be common sense that we do this... so i gotta imagine we aren't.
  5. Agreed. Winning cures everything. Make the right GM HC combo and take a step back and let them do their thing
  6. Ben Johnson was my favorite ever since Rhule got fired but damn I'm coming around to Slowik. I'd be thrilled with either. Slowik working directly under Shanahan for 5+ years is some really awesome experience.
  7. Wow. Wonder how D. Brown feels about that statement after he balled out and gave it his all every Sunday
  8. I think the OL is actually kinda close with the right scheme. Kick Icky to LG, Bozeman, Corbett/Brady, Moton. Go get Tyron Smith in FA to anchor LT for a couple years while we draft and develop. also one of Mike Evans or Michael Pittman
  9. I’d sign him for 22M. He has no interest in that so I’d tag and trade for a first in a heartbeat but more realistically a late second from a contender is what we get
  10. I mean yeah, you'll most likely never hit on all of them at the same time in the same sense it's really hard to miss on all of them at the same time, which we somehow did this year. I just don't see how anyone could possibly take a step back and look at this offensive season and decide you can make a determination on a rookie QB. A lot (most) on here disagree and that's fine. I'm just answering OP's original question with my perspective.
  11. I mean there is stuff like the Chark fumble today and TMJ not able to do the bare minimum so yes there is a certain amount of accountability needed, but overall and more impactful I think was the overall scheme and offensive gameplans this year. Like I said in my original post, I don't think you can make a determination on any offensive player this season.
  12. 100%. We should have a completely new scheme, coach, and GM (hopefully offensive roster too) week 1. We’ll know 6-8 games in if he’s the guy.
  13. I guess I watched a different season. I saw a few seriously nice downfield throws just in the GB game. I know we’ve moved on to that game being a fluke but the throws were made on that day.
  14. Yeah here. I just don’t think you can make a determination on any offensive player this season. I haven’t looked at final stats but think he ended up with more TD than INT and around 3000 yards in an absolutely terrible scheme, with a subpar OL and skill group, 2 HCs/horrible GM/worst owner in the league. It’s easy to put all the blame on the QB (which the huddle really likes to do) but I don’t think Bryce ever had a chance this year. He was setup for failure this year. Regardless he gets all of next year so we will see how he looks with a full NFL offseason and new coaching staff.
  15. So we have lost a TD to Chark and a TD to TMJ. Never let Fitt make another WR decision in his career
  16. This team is cursed. Its gods will to not let us score
  17. Man Chubba has come on big as a runner this year but his pass blocking… woof
  18. Man offensively we’ve just given up. I know it’s the last game but jfc call the full playbook at least
  19. Unreal how worthless Burns is against the run. It’s kind of crazy to watch
  20. God Jaycee is so good. Could literally be #1 CB in the NFL if can find a way to stay healthy
