I should have warned y'all. British people, always thinking they can get a better deal elsewhere. I hope he still gets signed to a deal. For any team. More European players to pave the way.

Josh Norris believes WR 3 is a big need this offseason
kass replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
One more believer Great! BUT, I also think there is a need for more receivers. The ones on the roster today are journeymen that might be good enough to be on a roster, but they wont become players who make an impact or become "good/great". -
Josh Norris believes WR 3 is a big need this offseason
kass replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not sure about 3rd biggest need but it is a need. We do not know how much Anderson will demand for 2022+. But DJ Moore 5th year option would be 11+ for 2022 and franchise tag in 2023 would be 17+ million. In the 2020 draft there were a bunch of wr in the middle and late rounds that showed promise and could breakout this season. So I would be willing to use 2 picks on that position if the right players are available. Either 4-5 round pick and one of the 6 picks. Snap count 2020 DJ Moore 81% Robbie Andersson 78% Curtis Samuel 64% Cooper 14% Zylstra 12% Roberts 9% Kirkwood 3% -
That sound so much better.

Most likely. But until you have your QB you have to keep trying, right? I would consider Gardner as mine swing and miss option and have a low cap hit. How would you proceed if the team do not get Watson or any of the top QBs in the draft? Would be interesting to hear. (Trubisky?)
-
Well just to clarify, I would never offer that for Gardner. I just quoted the other poster and wanted a clarification if that was what he/she was ready to give up. If there are no other options, would you not give him a try? Or why is he out of the question. I assume Teddy is out even if we do not land Watson or one of the top QBs in the draft.

#8, #40 and 2022 second rounder for Gardner?

Had to look up what double pane meant, before i post and made myself a fool but i guessed right.. In Sweden Triple pane have been standard pretty much since the 80s. But I guess our climate is a bit different. But it still amazes me how hard this cold hit Texas. Glad it worked out ok for you.

Don't see how your comment is relevant to mine. Is it wrong of me to hope Miller can contribute on the field? Btw... KB is out because he was lazy, have you seen reports of Miller being lazy and adding pounds of fat? KB was out his second year, not by choose, but still. KB got a second chance, his second season at the Bills and a third when picked up by Kansas... Why are we still talking about him....
-
Hopefully he did preventive training during his off year so he won't be as injury prone as in college and his rookie year. Seemed to have some natural talent but only showed some vague flashes. He have a lot to prove at this level but I think he can be a positive "addition".

Panthers "a top candidate" for HBO's Hard Knocks
kass replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
If there are 5 teams that can be forced to be the Hard Knocks team, yeah, all five are sort of top candidates. Some other years there was 10-12 teams who could be forced. Guess the off season is slow right now, for this kind of discussion taking place... -
So its confirmed. Not surprising.
-
Is it 5 million in base salary and the rest incentives? Mentioned by Rapoport in this clip. If so, that's more reasonably.
-
A WR in the fourth would be perfect. Have not looked into this class yet but from a glance there are some great top prospects and hopefully it is just as deep as last year.

Alpaca? Not as useful as a lama but better than nothing I guess.

Said it two weeks ago that Rams was in for a new QB. The price tag for Stafford was my starting offer for Watson. Wow. Really wonder which competition drove up the price. Will read this thread now.
-
If Newman have a good senior bowl, won't any team jump on him in the second? Weren't he considered to be a potential first rounder at one point? Alot of teams need a QB who might not get their first choice in free agency or in the first round.
-
Was waiting on this news article. Been obvious for a while now about Goff. Next year will probably be similar when many teams gets disappointed with this years moves.
-
Guess my post sound a little smug, that weren't the intention at all. I also like Sewell. Shame we lose out on his talent. Hope there are another promising OTs worthy the 8 pick. Want them to go o-line with a few picks this draft.
-
Haha.. I feel sorry for my fellow countryman there.. Sewell falling to 8, yeah, unfortunately not gonna happen.
-
I thought the same thing. But then he mentioned, in his answer on the Combine question. That the value of the combine was to meet the players and get to know them, he mentioned Derrick Brown specific and only him, in retrospect, as someone he would love to get the opportunity to coach. Not sure that answer change anything. He could still wanted to trade down.
-
That is true. It's fun to speculate but, well, we will see eventually if he can bring success to the team.
-
Would be interesting to see if they found value or if they should have kept on trading back. Or maybe trading up or getting picks for 2018.. haha Was about to ask if anyone could identify the year, but I did take a look and i am sure the year is 2017. It could maybe be 2019, but that is not as likely. Sooo, how did they do in 2017.

Fitterer got his foot in the door by trash talking David Tepper
kass replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Did Tepper make that comment before or after the internal interviews? Because it makes me wonder if there are any skill set the organization thinks they do not have. Also which these are. edit: guess I missed this part But I thought this kind of person was already hired last off season. -
Rams?
