  1. We all know he is possibly the worst coach ever in the history of pro football, but to see it crystallized like this in one stat???? Like who else gets that many opportunities to run up a record like that?
  2. That's good coaching. And we got to see him whoop our ass with it almost the entire time he was in the division. Man, I really hope we can Rhule and hire him. I hate the dude, but I want to love him.
  3. Honestly, I started feeling thus way last year, but I feel like Week 1 of this season confirmed it... YGM seems like a bust.
  4. We're about to see why the Titans have the worst rushing defense come Sunday.
  5. Wow. Hackett needs to be drug tested immediately. Dude sounds like he's on speed and coke. Even Van Pelt just made a joke about segueing from him to let him "take a breath."
  6. Nah. Not that I liked it, but I guess bc they are AFC, even though I hate them, it felt distant enough to not bother me. And although I hate Belichick as an opponent, he is the greatest strategist coach of our time, so I was excited to see how he would use Cam. That whole experience ended up being very forgettable and sad.
  7. That FG call definitely felt like some scary ass Rhule poo.
  8. They were in the game because Elflien is a pussy.
  9. Read earlier that Cam might be their target now, and I don't want to see that at all. There's 3 teams I absolutely couldn't stand to see Cam with... Dallas, NO, and ATL.
  10. NGL, happy for Geno. He has never been as bad as he has been portrayed to be. In fact, he has great natural talent, I just think he was always in really crappy situations. Regardless. I'm happy to see a guy who had to take a step back and sit behind someone for that many years get his opportunity and capitalize on it. Also, Russ has worn thin on me over the years. I liked him since the NC St. Days, but I've read and heard things that infer he isn't exactly as straight up or clean-cut as he projects himself to be, and he is a bit of a primadonna, AND now he plays for Denver, so f them lol. And my last observation... that's 2 teams this week that beat their former starter with a backup, including our game. So maybe things aren't as bad as it appears... The former teams definitely have a bigger advantage in these matches because QBs don't typically change tendencies and weaknesses, and the former team knows those... whereas any information the former QB has can change week to week, and these games pretty much demonstrated that.
  11. fug PFF. Apparently bad snaps don't factor into their ratings.
  12. To be fair, would you want Darnold throwing the ball? He wanted more running when it was Darnold as the QB, and that I don't disagree with... but, no doubt, the balance is all screwed up. Also, if you watch the whole presser, he also said the ball CMC picked up off the bad snap and ran for 30+ yards should've counted as a rushing attempt, so they counted that in their numbers, but the league counts it as a fumble recovery so that doesn't show up in the stats. And he said it probably would've went for more if we would've had a clean snap and handoff. Ok, Matthew. You can't make this poo up.
  13. Rhule also said Shi will be the guy they 3xpect to assume the return duties, but also mentioned Chubba and Laviska.
  14. For as great as he's been in his role during his time in the league, as a now 38 year old going on 39... welcome to your mid-30s, Andre. It just ain't like it used to be.
  15. Saquan is going to make Chubb's output look like Chubb Change. Ayyyyyyyyoooo! But seriously, he is going to destroy us. Daboll doesn't play that poo. If he sees we can't stop something he is going to capitalize off of it, and big time.
  16. Apparently tweaked his knee and we're awaiting to hear back from training staff, but said he is erring on the side of "discouraged" that he will be available in week 2. I think he also said he apparently dealt with it in camp as well. Awesome.
  17. Considering we had our prized offensive player on the field yesterday and he barely got the ball, I'm not getting my hopes up.
  18. But, but, but he's lost weight and works out every day with Shaq! And he cares about his people! And he can coach every position!
  19. Like I said in the game thread, we've moved all these pieces around and upgraded the OL, brought in a proven playcaller, etc., and ehat has changed? Literally nothing. The offense was just as dysfunctional for 3/4 of that game as it was all last season. That is where the answer is revealed... it wasnt the OL. It wasn't Joe Brady. It wasn't Teddy. It wasn't Sam. It wasn't Cam. It's not McAdoo or Baker... it's Matt fuging Rhule. My guess is that he has a concept or gameplan he wants to be the overlying plan of attack every week, and the OCs are trying to run a functional offense while trying to appease him, and that's why poo looks so dysfunctional on gameday, because there are too many cooks in the kitchen, and the one that ultimately calls the shots is a fuging idiot.
  20. He literally is 5 missed sacks (where he actually has his arms/hands on the QB) away from averaging 15 sacks a year. And I venture to say if they tracked missed sacks, he would easily lead the league, by A LOT. He's always there, it's just a matter of finishing... and if he ever gets to that point, I don't want to give up a guy averaging 13+ sacks a year. I know it's frustrating, but he's the best we have up front and he has vastly improved in every aspect of his game. He just has to finish the plays when he's there.
  21. And that's the thing... I dont see how anyone could objectively argue he isn't the worst. McCarthy is on the hottest seat because it's Dallas. I don't think he's a great coach, but he's an average one and experienced. If he was any other smaller market, he probably lasts 5+ years easy, hovering slightly above .500. And people keep bringing up Kingsbury, but I think that is an even more damning comparison for Rhule. Sure, the Cards tend to flame out late, they don't always seem focused, but his teams win... and he came into the position with even less coaching experience than Rhule, college and pro... and yet, he quickly turned them into a competitive team with a shot at the playoffs every year. He might not be living up to heightened expectations, but again, for a guy who had even less experience than Rhule as a COLLEGE coach, not even pros, he came in and made them win more often than they lose. And that led me to a moment of clarity this morning - Kingsbury has success because he played college football at a high level and specializes in something tangible that he's able to coach into his team. Rhule is struggling because he doesn't have that. At all. What made him successful in college was his ability to talk and be a salesman, so he could recruit, get guys in the program, and then was pretty much hands off from there. College, more than any other level of the sport is about, as my coach used to say, "the Jimmys and the Joes, not the Xs and the Os." It is becoming very evident, Rhule doesn't know how to manage even the most basic duties on gameday, and he damn sure doesn't know how to implement and run a gameplan during the week. Nor has he demonstrated any ability to actually coach guys up from a technical standpoint. And that's the difference. He literally can't coach. At all. And he keeps flailing around trying to talk his way into success, like he did in college, and it just won't work.
  22. Man, I'm telling you... Stefanski making him call that timeout on the faux-4th down attempt to allow them to kick a FG after burning our timeout... My God. Once Rhule saw what the actual endgame was there, he should've walked straight up to the suites, apologized for wasting everyone's time, and put in his resignation effective immediately.
  23. I accepted it after the first quarter yesterday. I knew we would still have to overcome Rhule to have any degree of success this year, and that would've only been because of the sheer talent we have now. And despite how cynical many of us are, I probably being among the most, they still found a way to make us sip a little bit of the offseason koolaid. Well, that poo came crashing down fast in that first quarter, and I got that sinking pit in my stomach when the realization hit me - "He just wasted another year of our Fandom and our lives," desperately hoping for a winning season that Tepper elected to defer, yet again. Disgusting.
