I hate to be the heretic in the room, but there are actually things to do with your free time than peruse an NFL msg board. I'm not saying they are great and wonderful life enriching things. I'm about to boot up Satisfactory as we speak. But there are things.

I teach a new hire training class for my company. The company will hire almost anyone into the class, and the job it trains you for is worth six figures if done even reasonably well, but the pass rate for the class is about 25%. One of the things I tell every new class is that punctuality is extremely important so don't be late coming back from breaks or lunch or it could cost you your job, yet i wind up cutting people every single class for this exact reason. It's amazing how many people will let themselves lose out on the best opportunity they've ever had because they can't do something simple like show up on time. If I had a shot at an NFL roster I would plan to be there one hour before whatever time I was required to show up, minimum.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I-85 is a well maintained and always well flowing freeway. It is a model of everything the interstate highway system is, should, and aspires to be. No one is ever stuck on it, they are experiencing it. It would never be clogged with traffic even on a sunday morning. I hope.

The most obvious difference between Senior Bowl and Training Camp is how one performs against other college players albeit good ones, vs how one performs against actual NFL players. I'd say this was the most likely reason: He looked good against college competition but got exposed against pros.

Play him. The quality of his line isn't going to improve meaningfully as both the preseason and season progress. It can only get worse due to injury. There are no promising young linemen expected to start in their first or second season who just need time to improve. Therefore the fact he needs reps in the new system remains and there is no meaningful reason to believe his protection is going to change for the better. A qb you don't play when the single most important thing about him is evaluating him and his long term potential is pointless. Put him out there. If he gets hurt, then maybe we'll do something substantial about the oline for once. Or maybe we'll just keep beating our organizational head against the same brick wall we've been beating it against for the past decade and keep acting surprised when the results are the same.

Seriously, you might not like Rhule, but *this* is the incident you are highlighting as what you don't like about him? Substitute any other coach in the league into this situation and let the story stay the same and tell me what your complaint is.
