Pickett, Corall, and Willis are NO better than Sam ... this year. That's a fact. What can they turn into? No one knows. I don't want that gamble. I'd rather pick from a better pool next season where ... you may actually know. The question is, will we be inept enough to have a great pick in 2023. All these new signings point to no. Really tough spot for the FO.

Watson not out of woods yet - 2nd grand jury

Browns don't want a 1st for Baker anymore. -
Looks like we'll be playing each other in the Play-In. Thank god for Brooklyn they are finally lifting the damn Covid private company crap tomorrow and now Kyrie can play at home.

At some point owners need to draw a line in the dirt. I don't care if they are rich, old men with billions. I don't care if teams are worth billions and billions. I don't care if fans pay high prices for tickets and beer. I do care that these contracts get higher and higher in all sports. It's insanse. And the more contracts signed like this, the higher and higher the money will go. They (like the owners) are getting away with robbery and it hurts the cap. The solution, of course, is no cap ... but lol to that. Which brave WR is bold enough to ask for 40 mil a year now? We'll probably find out in a year or two.

POLL: What Will It Take For You To Be OK With Keeping Rhule?
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to travisura's topic in Carolina Panthers
10 wins or more. Playoffs not a must. Just show us you can actually coach, the team is much better, and all we need is a QB. Then you have my trust. BTW, you never had it to begin with so you'll have to earn it. -
Scouting reports for the top three quarterbacks
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think being able to throw bombs is very overrated. How often do you see QBs throw super deep in games? Not that much. Not only do you need to be accurate, but you need WRs who can meet you at the spot, an OC who can drum up the play, and hope you're not going up against DBs that will be in stride with your WR. Sure, it's a great plus to have, but I wouldn't count that toward Willis at all. That's usually the first thing someone says about him: strong arm, lol. Show me the kid in the two minute drill against top talent, show me him taking the ball from inside the 20 all the way down for a score, show me him hitting multiple targets per game. That's what I want to see. Neat, he can sling it and scramble. So can PJ. So can Jalen Hurts. Hurts DID lead all Fantsay scores last season I hear ... maybe you Willis lot are just in it to be able to draft a Panther on your team. -

Simms seems to think that Corral and Pickett are BOTH faster than Willis. Willis is more elusive. -
Aren't all pro days good for the player? They're tailor made to make them look great. Neat, he made some deep throws to a designed spot with no pressure in his face! I'd be OK with Wilis ... but not at 6th. Projects should be taken toward the end of the round. Top 10 should be players who are ready to start and kick butt from day one.

I'd rather give Baker a try than Pickett or Willis. -
Brady will be fine.

I hope Rhule is Pissed
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why do guys buy bball jerseys but then wear a shirt under it? Looks so odd. That said, good for UNC. They had an ok season with a good record but weren't ranked for almost the entire season. It made no sense. And now look. -
Team is still very average

WAIT ... we didn't fix the franchise in one week? The hell you say! -
None of these moves matter without our franchise QB
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to Kraybrothers's topic in Carolina Panthers
You're right, OP. And we'll get him next season. This season will be long, but we are building a solid team for that eventual QB to come in and start something special. Draft LT at #6, roll with Sam or Cam for 2022, and let IT begin in 2023. Stop trying to make it happen this year. -
Yeah, what's hard to understand? DW: Browns are out. time passes DW: You'll pay me HOW MUCH? Ok, I'll play for you.
-
Is CPantherKing a troll? Or legit stupid?
-
I'm fine with Baker. With the signings we made today, and if we draft LT at #6, that's Playoffs. Rolling with Sam, Cam, or Willis is not Playoffs. IF we can't get Baker, then draft the LT, roll with Sam or Cam and get a QB next year.

Three top 10 QB's refused to play for Matt Rhule.

I'd move to Delaware, West Virginia, South Carolina, New Jersey, or Wyoming for 230 million. -

It's not about a lifestyle of having certain things. It's about the lifestyle of Atlanta the city. Norfleet is 100% correct. Some on here would argue how Cam would fly down to Atlanta. Sure. But why not LIVE in Atlanta that also has the plus of your family there too? DW is young and still like to have his fun. Atlanta is THE city for him since he can't play in Houston. Now it's up to the Falcons to trade Ryan to bring him home. -
Why does everyone want a QB this season? We will NOT make the Playoffs with ANYONE. The draft prospects are better next season. What's the point of a one season rental? Let Sam suck, get a high draft pick, Rhule gets shown the door. Win win win. You can suffer through a terrible season. Hell, you've done it many, many times.

It's over? For serious? That's it? Ballgame? The end? No more?
