It's because the helmet and pants were two different colors of silver. Not that they could match the glitter helmet. But it was just too much. If you want to have the glitter helmet be the accent, cool. Then have all white, all black, and all blue for the uniforms. Simple.

If Miami and SDSU can keep it up, and with players able to make money now, and with NFL/NBA players saying they prefer warm, party cities ... I could see places like Miami, SDSU, South Florida, UCLA, FAU, etc. start to grab players from the big dogs of Duke, Kansas, UNC, Kentucky, Michigan, etc.

Hideous.

It's more for the fans. Like soccer hooligans. You can't be an intimidating fan base with a dolphin logo for example. And our Panther just looks dorky.

Four.

We need a new logo IMO. I get the whole "it's shaped like the Carolinas" thing ... but it's not intimidating, and barely aesthetically pleasing. My OCD likes the all whites, but I'm fine if they got rid of them. The whole "can't wear black in summer" BS is so dumb. These are men. They can handle it.
-
Just get rid of the silver.

Hold up ... Princeton CAN beat Creighton tonight. Then they CAN beat SDSU. FAU could possibly beat KSU. Are you telling me Princeton vs FAU in the FF is doable? On the other side ... Xavier CAN beat Texas. Gonzaga CAN beat UCONN. Are you telling me Princeton could be in the Finals vs either Gonzaga, Xavier, or Miami ... and Princeton could win it all? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I know, near impossible. Or is it? Damn you, smart kids!

Meh. Fixable is fixable. I highly doubt Levis is a stubborn old goat. Just like AR isn't some dumb young kid.
-
Why are you people calling him Baby Chark? Not only may he not like that nickname, but it's dumb. The song is for kids. At least come up with something tough. Charknado, Jaws, Megalodon, Great Black, Tiger, etc.
-
I don't want Levis, but anyone else find it funny people rag on his footwork and accuracy and act like the NFL can't fix it ... but somehow know the NFL can fix Richardson?
-
Eight pages without this? You've let me down, Huddle.
-
But it's perfectly fine to rag on Levis, Darnold, Mayfield, Bridgewater, PJ, Clausen, Carr, Ryan, etc.

Looking at Success or Failure of top 10 to 12 QBs since 2000

This thread sucks. -
This is why Bryce Young undoubtedly is QB1
Brooklyn 3.0 replied to Ivory Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep, it's really just all about his size. Not one person here thinks he's a garbage QB. Not one. Not one thinks Stroud is THAT much better than Young. Not one. Almost all of us agree Young is as good as it gets as a college QB and could easily translate that into the pros. But here's the thing, not everyone gets to be a pro. Just look at the NBA. Some guys just aren't built for it, and they were amazing in college. It's just the cold, hard truth. Yes, Young could easily prove naysayers wrong and do what Brees and Wilson did ... but the amount of smaller QBs who were all world is small for a reason ... no pun intended. Stroud and Young are almost equal in terms of skill. Young might have the mental edge, Stroud has the physical edge. You just have to ask yourself if you are 100% confident Young can take the physical pounding the NFL will give him. Remember, even with the new QB protection rules, no QB goes untouched. If you think Young will last 15 years or more ... awesome. But the smart gamble is on Stroud. -
"Guys, guys ... Young had the WORST WRs in the history of organized football today, and don't GET me started on this past season for Bama. Had Young had better WRs, he would've broken every passing record in NCAA history! And his O-Line ... OMG ... straight traaaaash. MEANWHILE, guys ... guys, Stroud had like ... the best WRs we've ever seen since like the football became a thing at his pro-day, and during the season his O-Line and WRs were SO good they could've replaced like, any NFL O-Line and WR." Never change, somepeopleonthehuddle. This place gives some QBs more excuses than .... well ... there is no comparison. The Huddle treats some of their QBs with kid gloves.
