  1. I agree but I’m not sure how doable it is from an administration perspective. But I’m just a fan so I dunno.
  2. Rhule can’t be fired because all but 4 members of the staff are his lackeys from college. They would not finish the season as interim, as it would create a very strange situation. Chase Blackburn would have to hire an interim staff for 2 games. We don’t have a Darrell Bevell to name interim HC. Nobody on Urbans staff gave a fug that he was fired.
  3. Vea is a NT in a 3-4 system. He soaks up 2 guys and put up those stats. Derrick Brown has a dude next to him and doesn't command double teams ever. There's a huge difference in what's happening on the field.
  4. That's just flat out wrong. Vea was a force in 2019 and he only played 5 games last year due to injury. The Bucs have been stout up front when he's on the field. Suh had 10 sacks and made the pro bowl his first season. The dude was a monster immediately.
  5. I hear ya, but if Derrick Brown wasn't ready to make an impact, he was a huge reach in the top 10. You don't draft a guy that high to wait 3-4 years for him to elevate his play above JAG level. edit: Just want to add he was billed as a grown ass man in the draft.
  6. The Colts are a well coached team overall. I couldn't believe how well their offensive line played this week, after they basically lost all of their starters.
  7. Sounds like even more reason to dump Rhule this year. We won't have to compete with as many open positions for candidates.
  8. It’s true but the oddest thing about this is he played lots of freshmen in college. One of his trademarks was starting the under classmen over seniors.
  9. Never seen anything like that before, but we still have 2 more games to play lol.
  10. Another way of looking at it. Was anyone asking this question about Star Lotulalei?
  11. This is sunk cost fallacy. Something tepper should be more than familiar with as an investment professional.
  12. I’m willing to give him more time, but the fact is he doesn’t demand double teams. He gets taken care of by 1 lineman. That isn’t a DT you draft in the top 10.
  13. Probably. Defensive tackle is a position that should make an impact immediately. He might turn it around under a better staff.
  14. I wish I had more pie. I feel the same way. Say whatever you want about Cam, but what more can you ask for from a player? He has poured his heart and soul out for this franchise, and Matt Rhule treats him like he's any other waiver wire fodder. When Cam was drafted he was so electric, I assumed he would move on to some big market team and leave us in the dust. But the man bled Carolina blue from the moment he was selected. What more can you ask for as a fan? The man will always be a legend to me.
  15. That's the most ironic part about this. Fans were completely fine sucking for a year while we rebuilt the team. But instead, Rhule went "win now" mode and traded away too many draft picks etc. Now we're worse off than we were when he was hired. Most fans are okay with losing for a season if there is progress and something to hope for. But this staff is 100% hopeless.
  16. We've lost for 4 straight years and never had back to back winning seasons. We don't have fair weather fans lmfao.
  17. Cam has more class in his pinky finger than Matt Rhule will ever have.
