The Jets Joint Practice Thread: HOT Take Edition

You hate to see it, but if you've been a Panther fan for any length of time... are we even really surprised that the 100 million dollar man is hurt before the season? -

If the offense can possess the ball and allow them to breathe, I think they could be good. HOT TAKE ... this is actually a hot take, I don't need to edit it -

Well it appears that someone seated behind a pole is trying to film Bryce Young throwing an INT. Hot take: I'm an idiot and I'm wrong. -
I'd put the odds at around 1% that Darnold ends up being the guy. And around 99% that the Vikings fans are begging for McCarthy by week 10 or 12. That's really too bad. I think he was just signed so that McCarthy could ease into being the starter. But now they're stuck with him for the whole year. I think they will realize how good Kirk actually was. Not that he's a superstar, but he's way better than Sam Darnold.

Hot take. Defensive linemen are fat. -
I mean, he meets all the physical requirements. He's pretty athletic. Big arm, can move around in the pocket. Can be pretty accurate. He just doesn't have it between the ears. He's very prone to panicking when under pressure. He doesn't play with enough confidence. One mistake can easily send him spiraling out of control.

Pie = Generally agree or good post Poo = Abhorrent post. Only to be used in the worst of cases. If you use it a lot, you're probably the problem. Fire = Hot take. Something people agree with but its a little spicy, and may be worded to incense people not sharing the same opinion. Beer = Jackie Lee liked your post HOT TAKE Tony Romo is underrated by the vast majority of NFL Fans and deserves to be in consideration for the HOF. -
This is basically the preseason discussion around our offense. Please don't ban me for stick figure butt cheeks, but I will take it for this glorious illustration.

Damn Judon is good. Now we gotta see him twice a year.
-
Its a biblical proverb ya nerd lol
-
I've been watching these every year, but I think this year I'm gonna save it until about Week 10 or 11.

Its called checking down when everyone including Shy Tuttle knows it coming.

Would the Carolina Panthers move on from QB Bryce Young?
PNW_PantherMan replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ok now this is poo posting. Gotta love The Fan. -
I wouldn't be mad seeing Darnold finally become a consistently good QB, but I just don't see it. All the coaching in the world can't address his problem. He's too easily rattled. It's not PTSD. He's just not good in the pocket.
-
I mean we obviously have a generational defense. Duh.
-
This is positive coach speak stuff that I wouldn't read too much into.
-
Thats actually a pretty insane heads up play because he's not even dropping into a shallow zone there. He sees the pass is coming, disengages from the blocker, and turns into a pass defender.
-
When a guy like that gets the ball, pretty much everyone wants to see him run with it lol.
-
That's a bummer.
