sounds about right The poo that was coming out of that front office since Feb was discombobulated, confusing and in general a clusterfug. Not sure why they are making things this hard. In a nutshell stop saying stupid poo like "not drafting in top 10 again" "point guard" "Every starting spot is better" "drop a qb in" "conviction" etc Just shut the fug up and dont say poo that will make you look stupid down the road

NFC South 2024 Offseason Financials [Spotrac]
mrcompletely11 replied to Evil Hurney's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would trade Theilen, Jackson, Moton, Burns without thinking twice If I could get a first and something else for brown I would do that in a heartbeat. We are in complete rebuild mode IMO. For once lets do this right -
you mean to tell me guys named tbone, flounder and mac are frauds?
-
I thought mayo was the wonderkid in waiting there

^^ so before pro days, before interviews, before the combine and before the staff came in, everyone already had this guy scouted out? Yeah man fitt ran a clown show operation
-
we could have done that with wilks
-
The fact was, we felt so strongly about the quarterback this year, right?" Fitterer said. "Like, even in our February meetings, where every scout had the same opinion on this guy. It never really changed. It just kind of held strong that way, right? That reinforced that we're doing the right thing." Fitterer and the scouts thought a certain way in January. A new staff of coaches rolls in in February, and they initially think the same thing. The more they learned, the more sure they became.

I would have kept him at least one more year. Dude can coach
-
It was reported that literally everyone in the building liked young over stroud. Everyone. That tells me 1 of 2 things. A)Teppers preferred Young and everyone fell in line or B)our scouting dept is from top to bottom filled with absolute morons and every person in there is wasting oxygen and needs to be replace asap
-
I keep seeing this but what has he done, everything written about him just seems like general speak. Nothing specific, I mean all you are hearing about with fitt is that he was well liked, uh so what he was terrible at his actual job. I dont care if morgan is well liked, can he do the job? If someone has an article or tweet or anything about morgan and his tenure other then in charlotte, this would be the thread to post it

With Panthers cleaning house how safe is Bryce
mrcompletely11 replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
I knew we were in for it when Youngs arm strength or lackthereof was on full display. I knew it wasnt on par with the greats but it was pretty breathtaking how bad it was. In hindsight we should have known we were in for a long year -

As we sit here today on 1/9 my over under for 2024 is 5 wins. Sure that could change but a lot and I mean a lot of poo has to happen and go right for us -

So you admit Young played below average but you still think he isn't a problem. Interesting logic -

Being purposable obtuse is a strange look for him. But he always seems to pop up to defend bryce -

There is absolutely no way you know what the league thinks of bryce. I dont either, I just know what I watched for the past 16 games with him. Dont pretend you know the pulse of the nfl in regards to young, I do know that if he was on any other nfc south team we would be laughing our collective asses off at this point. I suspect we will get a glimpse of what folks think of him during interviews. Whatever might leak or whoever potentially may pass -

Just about every media member has said the next coach has to be hired as a head coach and not as someone who can "fix" bryce. We shall see how this plays out going forward -
Breaking, Ian Rapoport: Fitterer Fired

moton is about to get expensive and he is aging. Not sure what you can get for him but I would certainly shop him -

Not to get into another pissing match about this but most agree that Bryce gets next year. You can argue what constitutes progress and I suspect that will be next years talking point but you have to wonder how potential gms and coachs are going to be fully on board and what assurances they are going to have about moving on. I think without a shadow of a doubt its going to hinder the search for both if Young is shoved down their throat come hell or high water. -
Panther related podcasts worth a poo?
mrcompletely11 replied to PantherFanInPhilly's topic in Carolina Panthers
c3 is good. Just random fans talking about the panthers Lockon - quick listen, lots of ads, Council knows his stuff The roar - worth a listen, ellis has lost his fastball for sure but I appreciate when he breaks down tape Young Gun - kindof of a fun listen, they focus more on Bryce but they were a bit delusional about this season and him. They go into it as uber fans of bryce and not objectionable but worth a quick listen -

we already are -
agreed but Ive always like Quinn and I think its probably a good strategy to get as many opinions about our situation and Young as you can, especially from hot coaching candidates. Doesnt hurt one thing to hear what they have to say and you would assume they would be brutally honest one way or another

Full rebuild in deed. Might as well move guys like moton, jackson etc if you can.
