Well thats kindof my gripe with this hire. We needed to hire a head coach not someone that can fix bryce. Can canales do both, maybe but its clear as to why he was hired. I truly hope though that tepper gives him a long runway because I think next year could be brutal

I honestly hope it works, but you do make a point. A brand new green head coach that was hired to "fix" an undersized qb that had a historically bad season has the potential to go south pretty quickly.

For the 3rd time, its pretty damn telling this is the hire. Im fine with it but you can easily read between the lines due to timing and lack of other team interest. He more then likely was the first guy that said yes to our situation

I think it probably shows one or more of the following Bryce young didnt sell very well Candidates were weary of tepper Because it makes no sense to rush this and it is telling that nobody else even gave him an interview. We likely were down quite far on the list. He may work out and he looks good on paper but hiring now kindof raises some red flags about this franchise and tepper
