Our corners are hurt and they dont throw all that much. May equal out if they stick to the heavy run game. I did watch last week and it did seem like they were trying to force feed Pitts in certain situations

There needs to be a breathalyzer installed on here before you can start threads. This may be the dumbest one in a month -

Truth -
How many teams have a “winning culture” in the nfl? Steelers. KC. Balt. Pats. This whole culture thing is overblown. Build a good team and go win. Talent and coaching matters. Culture not so much.

Don’t we get a 3rd if he walks?

I don’t hate him at all you are being dramatic. I have said since training camp rhule fuged this kid. I have also Said the odds of a 3rd round pick becoming a franchise guy is astronomical. Now with his injury and new staff there is no realistic avenue for him to contribute to this team in the near future. otas and minicamps don’t give a rookie learning a new offense that much of a head start? Goddamn dude okay I am not even getting in to that with you. Just look at baker for exhibit a. -

The fact is he is hurt and cannot practice until aug. it doesn’t matter who the coach is. That’s a fact. -

I tend to form my opinions on things that have or haven’t happened in the past consistently. A second year injured player beating out a highly drafted rookie qb is unheard of. It’s not the norm and most certainly not how coaching staffs handle a top rookie. There is no competition it’s just all about getting the qb up to speed. Hanging your hat and forming opinions on aberrations is not a good way to go through life. the data is the data. -

The new coach will evaluate corral as a 3rd rounder who cannot even practice until august. Not just my opinion but fact. -

You have an example of an injured 3rd qb competing with a highly drafted rookie qb? -

I like corral. Ive said many times rhule has fuged this kid, however the love this dude is getting on here is insane. He was dropping like a rock in the draft and is now injured. The odds were astronomical for him to make an impact as it was before he got injured. Now they are basically nonexistent. At absolute best he is starting the season qb3 behind a vet and a highly drafted rookie. At best. No way in hell corral is going to be taking any valuable reps from them especially seeing how he is going to miss mini camps etc until Aug. Even then we dont know how well he will play coming off a notoriously fickle injury. -

1. No coach is going to watch tape of MC and decide that is who they will roll with since he cannot practice until Aug. 2. There will be no competition. The new staff will sign a vet when free agency opens and then draft a guy in April. Both of those dudes will be light years ahead of MC when he can actually practice fully. There are only so many reps to divide up and I doubt they will take away crucial reps from the rookie just in the name of "competition". Its sucks for MC but that is just how it is 3. Draft position is the world when you pick a qb in the top of the first. Dont kid yourself -

Rhule screwed this kid. Even if he has talent like you say at best he is going into camp, coming off a major injury, as qb 3. We are signing a vet in Feb. Drafting a guy in April and those 2 will be light years ahead in regards to the new offense simply based on reps in mini camp etc. I have to think at best the new staff will bring him along slowly and try not to throw him to the fire as that would not be fair for anyone. He probably will be #3 all season next year and maybe he can build from there. I seriously doubt it. I will reiterate, matt rhule fuged this kid. It sucks for MC but with his injury and new staff there just isnt any legit path for him to make any sort of meaningful contribution to this team in the near future. -

But it doesn't matter who is right or wrong because come April there will be 2 new qbs on the roster. Everyone agrees rhule fuged this kid but his chances of making an impact on this team is pretty nil at the moment even if he is good -
