Bring him in for an interview at least. Greg knows what he's about, he knows football. Coaches son, undisputed leader. He is smart enough to surround himself with the right people, and I believe Olsen definitely knows the right people. I'd be all in! F U C K IT!

Do you think Norv was down there coaching Cam on his mechanics on the day to day? That was the QB coach.....you are being obtuse for no reason. Do you think all 32 NFL teams hire QB coaches for no reason when they have an OC?

I feel that... I wouldn't call that sabotage though. That implies he did it with malicious intent. I just think he's not that good of an OC and has no flexibility. He fuged it up but he didn't sabotage it.

Right.....my point still stands. They finally decided to do some actually QB coaching with Cam and it made a huge difference. It was just too late, his should was a big hit away from blowing up. There is no proof anywhere that Young wasn't the consensus #1. Anything posted about that is pure speculation. Plus that is stupid, Reich would know sabotaging Young would sabotage his job here.

I brought Cam up. 100% it was known that they really just let Cam be Cam. Which was amazing, I love the dude. Me a literal grown man who had tears in his eyes after Cam came back and scored in Arizona a few years ago. So none of this is diminishing Cam. If everyone remembers he actually got some coaching on his mechanics and fundamentals before the 2018 season. This was the first time they tried actually using the QB coach with Cam and not just having it be his buddy. I believe it was a shorter, tighter throwing motion and really working on setting his feet. That was right before his best career completion percentage and I think he was like 15-2 TD/INT. It 100% made him a better QB and he was on pace to have his best "traditional" QB season until his shoulder gave out. I remember the details homie, I ain't talking bullshit here. No one is trying to trash Cam. Ron Rivera and his staff did not want to challenge Cam at all on his mechanics until the older Turner came in and they actually worked with him to improve. Cam Newton is the proof in the pudding that you need a good QB coach to get the most out of your QB. Someone has to guide them and correct them.

100% those guys need to be simpatico. We need 2 fresh pair of eyes that can evaluate this mess and have no ties to anything before it. Correct me if I'm wrong, the GM usually brings in the HC ( with owner input ), so why have we been shying away from that? There is too much corporate America through patterns floating around BOA.

He isn't sold on Bryce period. That's not going to change unless Bryce produces. Most people can see that the team is so trash you can't judge him without getting him into a better scenario ASAP, but some have decided his fate. Not saying he will, because fug if I know, but I wonder if that same "he's too small" energy stays if he balls out next year? He sure as hell has shown the be durable at least.

You seemed to have missed the most important difference between Johnson and McCown. The years of coaching experience.....like WHAT? QB coach doesn't matter? Who do you think is working with these guys? Just because until now we just let Cam do Cam and then hired a bunch of bums doesn't mean its not an important position throughout the NFL.

For real, people just making up poo. Deuce did a terrible job coaching up our RBs. There was no improvement. He couldn't train these guys to hit the few holes we did make. He got a lot of hype coming out of Hard Knocks for talking a lot. Josh McCown was a reach at QB coach. He was a great back up and helped a lot of young QBs from that perspective but that is not the same thing as a coach at all. Look at that! Easy enough to explain that they were just bad at their jobs! ORRRRR we can believe that Josh McCown had a stack of love letters for CJ Stoud that made fun of Bryce Young. Tepper and Tabor found them in his desk and fired him.

I meant staff wise. Its a big sell. Tepper will pay for you to get anyone you want into the organization. QB is going to be Young until mid way next season at a minimum.

I think its going to be Ben Johnson. He will be paid here and Tepper will let him bring in everyone he wants.

One serious thing to consider for all the people who think no one good will want this job. Tepper has been shown to throw the cash around to get you what you need. He did it with Rhule and he did it with Frank. That is a huge bonus when you feel confident you can get your guys because Tepper makes them an offer they can't refuse.

This is just trying to justify your position. Wilson was a laughing stock throughout the entire year. A lot of it by his own design. Payton had to lay the ultimatum out to Wilson that he has to change and be willing to be coached his way or he is gone. That job was not taken because Russell Wilson was there. It was taken because Payton knows he can coach. Anyways, fine not Denver then look at Cleveland, The Jags, The Rams, The Browns. All teams with bad histories and generally known to have bad owners ( drafting a QB because a homeless man told you to ) and yet they get the coaches eventually. Fans just don't want it to be true but the question is weather Tepper will pick the right guy, not weather the right guy is going to interview.

Someone who believes they are a better coach the Frank Reich? Did anyone balk at the Denver job? No, in fact they got a hall of fame coach/ professional douche bag to turn them around. This is a real dumb point, bad owners have gotten good coaches throughout the history of the NFL.

He will be here for 1 more year at least. They will see what a new staff can get out of him or relegate him to #2 and drop him after the season.

At least Tepper learned one thing.....if it stinks put it in the trash NOW, don't give it 3 years to see if it will get fresh.
