All eyes are now on Dave. He has a chance to redeem himself by correcting the error he made almost two years ago in hiring an NFL novice as HC. Will he or won't he? Panther fan's are hoping...

At this point, Matt is trying to prove to Tepper that he knows how to manage the QB position. Chances are, it will prove just the opposite, but will Dave Tepper be able to admit he's made a mistake with Matt Rhule? TLDR: Ask not for whom the bell tolls, the bell tolls for thee Dave Tepper.

When it comes to Dave Tepper, giving him a mulligan isn't too difficult to do after his two year failed experiment w/Rhule. He took the road less traveled, hiring a college coach with almost no NFL experience. It didn't work out, it happens. A third year of Rhule would be all on Tepper's shoulders. Dave, please stop the madness already! Hit the reset button and finally get this franchise moving in the right direction. Do the right thing, hire a coaching staff w/a proven track record of success in the NFL for 2022.

The nonsense going on right now with the Panthers QB position is just another symptom of a larger issue. Rhule isn't building anything meaningful in Carolina. He has mismanaged the team for two years and his gameday planning and leadership leave much to be desired. There is every reason to believe giving Rhule a third year will only make matters worse.

Tepper giving Rhule a third season is like giving a new car to your irresponsible teenage kid (after he's already wrecked two of them). At some point, you are going to be held personally accountable for your kid's stupid behavior.

If Tepper is using his noggin and the Panthers lose to Tampa this Sunday... Rhule will be terminated by Monday.

I'll say this, if they don't get rid of Rhule, it won't matter, because it won't get fixed.

Matt Rhule and company are incompetent at their jobs and incapable of fielding a competitive team. Bringing Cam back was a Hail Mary by the Panthers (Tepper most likely) to appease the fans and possibly win a few games late in the season.

Teddy certainly looked better than any other QB under Rhule. Bridgewater had the misfortune of being the first QB, so we didn't have any perspective to appreciate how bad things could really get.

This is what I expect to happen on Black Monday.

Cam isn't the reason why every QB that has played for this team under Rhule has looked horrendous. This is Rhule's team, he built it and ultimately he is responsible. Plug in another QB into Rhule's offense and chances are they'll struggle as well.

In retrospect, if Dave had to chose which one to fire first, it should have been Hurney. Rivera should've been given a chance with another GM. Especially knowing Rivera's best seasons as HC weren't with Marty. It may not have worked out, but Rivera was never as bad as the clown show we have now.

How long would it take to get this team back to the Super Bowl if Tepper starts over? A lot less time than if Dave decides to stick with his current coaching staff.

I have little doubt that a competent coaching staff could have this team competitive their first season and in the playoffs by the second. This team is young but only needs decent coaching, an improved line and a game manager QB to become a contender

I can think of at least one reason... Win or lose our next HC will be paid millions of dollars every season with a minimum of a 3 or 4 year contract.

The only concern Panthers fans should have is will Tepper fire Rhule this year or won't he? Being able to replace Rhule with a better coach isn't going to be a problem.

Any NFL Coordinator worth a damn believes he can be a HC. Panthers won't have any problem replacing Rhule with a quality HC if Tepper does his due diligence.

Not surprised to see so many loyal fans breaking their addiction to Panthers football. You'd have to be a masochist to enjoy watching the Carolina Panthers this season. Its your call Mr. Tepper. Double down or fresh start?

Don't give up hope just yet. Bucs vs. Panthers is the day after Christmas. Unless the Panthers pull a rabbit out of their hat, it will result in another loss for Rhule. Black Monday, December 27th, watch as several coaches on the hotseat lose their jobs. I fully expect Rhule to be one of them.

Yeah this is a puzzler considering the Panthers head coach can't shut up about players being capable of playing multiple positions but on the entire team there isn't a semi-capable backup kicker? What? Are you kidding me? Tepper needs to kick Rhule like a bad habit.
