Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn

Yeah, reality is the Panthers are a small market team in the NFL. His son isn't in the SEC anymore. -
Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn

Plugging that gaping hole at CB makes every other position on D more effective than they would otherwise be. Other than LT this might have been the best pick possible. TLDR: Surprised, but not upset with the selection. -

Pretty much the former however, let's go with the double entendre, those are always fun. -

In comparison to the Panthers other QB options Darnold is pretty low risk. If he works out Carolina gets a steal of a deal. If not, the search continues without any long term negative impact to the team's cap or draft picks. One could argue the move is already paying dividends when it comes to the team's flexibility in next week's draft.

I know all this ^^^, I've known it for years, yet it still amazes me Hurney lasted as long as he did and after being fired (again) went on to get hired by the WFT. On a more positive note: Marty should give all Huddlers hope that, despite lacking an eye for talent or the ability to negotiate a reasonable contract, we too could someday become an NFL GM. Hurney is living proof that it's not so much what you know, but rather who you know.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX just launched its third astronaut mission in less than a year. A slightly sooty Falcon 9 rocket topped with a Crew Dragon capsule took to the skies above NASA's Kennedy Space Center here at 5:49 a.m. EDT (0949 GMT) today (April 23), lighting up the predawn sky as it lifted off from the historic Pad 39A. The launch kicked off SpaceX's Crew-2 mission, which will carry four astronauts — NASA's Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, French astronaut Thomas Pesquet and Japanese spaceflyer Akihiko Hoshide — on a 24-hour flight to the International Space Station (ISS). https://www.space.com/spacex-crew-2-astronaut-launch-rocket-landing-success?utm_source=Selligent&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=SDC_Newsletter&utm_content=SDC_Newsletter+&utm_term=3434627&m_i=KLvKbavQ4dBTohVlMqKtKMkVzoXoTQv%2Bor6RtFml2ytssKdZjh9cyOMEENhHFSIbPeQGo1QoKzR_Eue2S33dRoP8DMdYOcjYvmXbzS1KKe

Panthers pre draft press conference

I like what Fitterer has done so far pre-draft. The Panthers have transformed from a team seemingly desperate for a top tier QB in the draft, to being one in control of their own destiny. If "their guy" is gone by 8 it appears they'll be able to acquire some additional high draft picks. TLDR: This draft is shaping up as a no lose situation for the Panthers.- 103 replies
