  1. getting ready to make my next thread, "how would you feel if we let Bryce walk and he won a super bowl a few years later like Darnold while we played Goldie locks with our QB situation?"
  2. it can be stats alone, and or team related accomplishments such as division, play off wins, etc. I think if he can show improvement in all categories, 3500+ yards to quiet the 200 yard average talk, 30> TD's and >10 INT's. it would be nice to win the division convincingly but hey, we never held not making the post season back to back season against Cam. funny thing is, I think most fans would prefer to see an impressive stat line from him than a playoff appearance / win. just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on what they personally need to see, not trying to bicker with anyone. oh and inb4 the there's nothing he can do comments...
  3. I'll say 9-8. I could really see us starting 4-0 heading into the bye, then momentum crashing and going on a skid, splitting divisional games, losing to superior teams but beating inferior teams.
  4. the majority, yes of course - but there was a large amount of panther fans also. this place was miserable at times, like I said - whether it was the towel, the dancing, the fumble, the shoulder, the comeback.
  5. damn our last SNF game was the 2016 Cam Newton "tie game" against the Seahawks.
  6. I'm surprised this thread isn't blowing up more, it sounds like we got 3 primetime games including a SNF game. I can't even remember our last SNF game. really exciting news but the debbie downers should be all over this soon to find some sort of way to rain on everyone's parade.
  7. I'm not surprised this context went over your head. Point is, people shat on Cam through his whole career whether it was the towel, the dancing, the fumble, the shoulder, it just goes to show even when you have something great people will complain. You can have all the size and arm power in the world and they will still find something to complain about. Bryce lacks the size and arm strength but doesn't have any of the dumb complaints about towels, dancing, fashion, etc. They have the same amount of super bowl wins, too. I hated on Bryce when it was edgy in cool. Now it's just getting old. That was 3 years ago and I'm rooting on him to prove the people that still hate on him wrong. You can keep trying to use this somehow, though.
  8. I'm used to people crapping on the panthers in public spaces. I used to have to defend Cam fugging Newton until I was blue. I come here to talk Panthers and it is literally the same 5 posters you see in this very thread saying the same things, every single day. it's not about having tough skin, it's the constant negativity by the same people. its boring, its annoying, it clogs discussions. this place has really changed and I regret signing back in. I only have like 5 mins a day to spend consuming panthers content and its always the same posters and same crap. we used to have a 6'6 gunslinging battery ram, and he would constantly get dragged through the mud for not being enough, or doing this or that or not diving on a fumble. at the end of the day, it's a people problem. people love to bitch and complain. they'll never be content, they'll never just sit back and root the team on. we had one of the best teams in the NFL on the ropes to move onto the next round of the playoffs while the stadium was alive and well and that wasn't even enough to just enjoy the show.
  9. God I really regret signing back into this forum. Maybe I'll just hangout in the Youtube comment section from now on.
  10. thank you for spending your time digging back into my comments on Bryce from his rookie year to try and contradict what I am saying on him 3 years later. that makes total sense. I am man enough to admit that when I used to drunk post on here during game days in his rookie year, I was not happy with his performance. opinions can change and he has done enough since then to have me feeling positive about where the team is heading and the position we are in to evaluate for another season. people like you completely box themselves into a corner though of only seeing the negative and not admitting when they are wrong. I am happy that my stance has changed and that I only resorted to a few drunk posts 3 years ago rather than spending every day racking up thousands of posts over the course of his 4 year career.
  11. If you're going to try and hold me saying he looks like crap in during his rookie year against me vs me trying to stay positive in the present and say that the hourly posting shitting on him is annoying and confusing because who the hell spends that much time on something they don't enjoy, I can't really help you. you're exaggerating and holding onto the past like a female. you just said in another thread that his excellent games vs the Rams has you feeling guilty for feeling any positivity. that is some true loser stuff right there, definitely not someone that is a fan of something. keep trying.
