  1. Get rid of the Temple cancer and connections with Rhule. The more we cleanse his players, the better.
  2. This is eerily similar to Cam Newton with the rise of Hendon Hooker, the QB from TN. Cam Newton took the NCAAF by storm and was unstoppable, he beat great teams too. Let's see if TN can make it to the finals. I think if they win the Championship, you have to strongly consider Hooker as a candidate, the kid is from Greensboro, NC too.
  3. Here's the thing, if Panthers are trading players for assets in the future, does that mean Fitt will be the GM next year? I don't understand having a fire sale of your best players and then trying to hire a new GM. Is it Fitt's call to trade these players or is it Teppers? These trades would be for the future, why would Fitt do it if he is not going to be around for it?
  4. Stroud has all the physical tools to be a franchise QB, but I think what matters the most is intangibles. The one thing about Ohio State QBs is that they can put up stats but is it because of the system and talent around them? Watch Fields last night and he looked lost, listen to his post game conference and he comes across as immature and not well spoken. Haskins also had some immaturity issues and seemed non-engaged with Commanders and Steelers. If Panthers are scouting Stroud, I would grill this kid pretty hard to see how he handles interviews and tough situations.
  5. I think the root of all this chaos and the downfall of the Panthers can come down to one single thing = Tepper's ego. Tepper bought the Panthers as the richest NFL owner and he came in real cocky with brass balls. His ego thought that he could buy the "hottest name coach (Rhule)", build the best facilities (failed Rock Hill site), pay the hottest name coordinators (Joe Brady), throw money at any QB to try and make it work. Once these failures start to mount, his ego wouldn't let him fire Rhule last year even though he knew it wasn't working. Tepper doesn't like being wrong as evidenced by his press conference. I do hope that Tepper learns his lessons and eats his humble pie. This next hire will be critical, if Tepper doesn't get it right now, he won't get it right in the future.
  6. I think firing Rhule will light a fire under the player's asses. This is a business, if you don't produce then next man up!
  7. The stench of Rhule is gone so Luke is back!
  8. I don't want any retreads with average win records. Look what Ron has done for the Commanders, below-average. Some of the former HC are stuck in their ways. The only retreads that would be candidates are ones with winning records/pedigrees (ex. Andy Reid, maybe McCarthy, even he is debatable) We need new blood and energy on the offense. Scoring points is what wins in the NFL now, no matter how good your defense is, it can't be on the field for 60 mins.
  9. Tepper is looking to see where Scott Fowler is sitting so he can jump him in the hall way! lol "How dare you ask me those hard questions!"
  10. It will be very interesting to see how Wilks game plans for Kupp. There's so much report about how Wilks disagrees with Snow's philosophy, let's see if he lines Horn up against Kupp. It will be a good battle to see how Horn measures up to one of the best WRs in the game.
  11. CMC is an ELITE RB, sure RBs are devalued now but you don't trade an ELITE player away for nothing. Anything short of a 1st rounder is a trash deal. Future late 1st rounds picks aren't guarantees. It's like you're willing to pay $100 for a $10 quick pick ticket to mega millions, good luck with those odds. With all of these tweets coming out about how toxic Rhule and his regime is, it's a blessing to have them fired this early into the season. Lets really see if Wilks can put these defenders in positions to succeed for the rest of the season. Maybe we won't win more games, but players will care about their stats such as INTs and sacks!
  12. LOL, now that the Huddle has gotten rid of our current HC, let's go talk sh*t about our old HC! Who cares what happens with Ron and the Commanders. For once we can finally make posts about our future and not complain about the past!
  13. Of course he likes Teddy, because he had Teddy in New Orleans and he won with Teddy! This goes to show you how good coaching can maximize the personnel they have around them. Was Carolina Teddy super different from NO Teddy? No, but Carolina coaching didn't know Teddy's strengths and weaknesses and did't set him up to succeed. Rhule expected Teddy to carry Rhule, not the other way around.
  14. With a Franchise QB, this team today could very easily be 5-0. Our defense has played well enough to win these games and the turnover battle. No team is stacked from top to bottom, but you do need difference makers in crucial positions.
  15. This must be the "culture/brand" Rhule was talking about, creating a toxic/malignant work environment. Maybe he should have spent more time game planing instead of worrying what the creative team should put in the media. Imagine Rhule being a secret Huddler on here, come out and face us Rhule!
  16. This is Tepper's reckoning press conference, I'm glad they asked the hard questions. This guy was so sure that he hit a home run with Rhule and felt like the smartest owner because he was the richest. Eat some poo, money can buy a lot of things but it doesn't always lead to success. This is the exact humble pie that he needs. Running a multibillionaire business is not the same with dealing with a sports team that has significant impact on fans. NFL fans are a much tougher critic than the stock market! Just get the next hire right Tepper!
  17. Looks like we have our answer, Snow is fired WITH Rhule. These two are a package deal for life! Rhule is right testicle, Snow is left testicle!
  18. Interesting to see what Snow will do when Rhule is fired. They have been inseparable for pretty much their entire coaching careers. Would Snow quit immediately with Rhule or play out the rest of the season first?
  19. Stroud looks like he has all the tools to be a successful QB, I just worry about Ohio State's QB pipeline in the NFL. It hasn't been very good.
  20. If Steelers got the #1 overall pick would they pick a QB right after picking Pickett though?
  21. At this point, I do believe that Rhule will be fired. There is just no way Tepper can justify keeping him at this point. It may be tomorrow or at the end of the season. What I worry most is if Tepper will make the right HC hire? Will he clean house with Fitt too? Will he spend money on an experienced coach like Sean Payton? Tepper is the common denominator in all of this, every one else is just temporary in this franchise.
  22. I would want Lamar to go off because I have him on my fantasy team!
  23. For Rhule's coaching funeral, hopefully that's when he'll be fired.
  24. Baker just makes every throw so hard when it doesn't have to be.
