Bryce is gonna have to show he can actually pass consistently well because you can’t win against KC with the way the offense has been playing, especially in the pass game. Defense is gonna get torched that is just inevitable so the offense if gonna need to rely on Bryce throwing the ball. So we will see in two weeks whether Bryce is developing as a passer or his limitations are being masked by a good run game. Like Daniel Jones’ with Sequon.

Nah, Byrce still needs to go. Dude struggles to hit 125 total yards a game. You can’t win anything with that kinda play. He is still a below average QB and we still need to move on from him.

Canales not having experience with College QBs shouldn’t matter. A QB is a QB. Say he can only work with already NFL QBs is not a trait I want in a HC and would be damning. For me it is Ward over Sanders. So I would hope that is who they aim for and we can an avoid the potential drama drafting Sanders may bring. But I have been impressed with Sanders play, too bad about that attitude. But if Bryce continues to improve this may be a moot point.

Ward and Sander are worth a first pick, imo. When have we ever drafted a later round QB and developed into something good? We tried twice and it failed spectacularly. There is no “Wait till next year” because guess what? We may not be in a position to draft a QB next year and they damn sure aren’t going to be moving up to draft someone after the Young debacle. If ya get the opportunity to draft Sanders or Ward you take it. Maybe they can move down and still get one of them.

Bryce played well but nothing he did Sunday made me this he is the long term answer. Still to many “Bryce” moments.

Yeah, you’re right. My thinking is they will keep him if Ward or Sanders are out of reach and bring in someone else to compete with him. But that is the worst case scenario. I am with most people on this board that even if we can’t get a QB we need to part with Bryce. Heck a QB room with Dalton and Plummer right now sounds a lot better. Than Dalton and Bryce.

They are waiting to see where we draft. If we draft in the top 3 Bryce is gone.

Him and Sanders are the only QBs I would consider in the first round. I won’t be upset if we take Sanders, unlike some people on the board. Both have potential to be really good NFL QBs if the teams can develop them. But as we have seen teams are not willing or are unable to now properly develop rookie QBs.
