He's not awful, but he's not done enough to earn the full time job. -
You had to make that trade - it was for literal peanuts. You also had to move on from him after about 3 games when he was clearly fuging awful.

Why? He's a solid TE2 - good blocker, decent pass catcher. Not a contested catches guy. Nice guy to have on the roster.

As I keep saying, this roster is just a good QB away from being at least .500 and competitive in every game.
