  1. Why continue to play the rookie QB if your big FA TE acquisition is a healthy scratch?!
  2. Wait, you're saying he could get worse!?! Is that even possible?
  3. They never intended to be a power rushing scheme. Reich has always run a zone blocking scheme. The fact that he didn't have the OLine to implement it is just another layer to the madness.
  4. Why are we teaching the #1 overall pick, who's had a QB coach since he was big enough to hold a football with one hand, the very basics of throwing?
  5. Consensus #1 overall pick needs all-star supporting cast to succeed. More news at 11.
  6. Kyler Murray who was drafted 9th overall by the Oakland A's? Short, but certainly not unathletic.
  7. But you literally saw a washed up QB put up 300+ yards, 2TDs and 27 points with the same supporting cast.
  8. I wouldn't mind people narrowing their search to the 3-4 too. Campbell is a 3-4 DE, but Dupree absolutely isn't (for example).
  9. That's exactly what a consummate professional like Brady would do. I've no doubt Brees, Manning et al did it too. It's how you retain your edge.
  10. He was the QB Coach in Seattle (2018-2019 and 2022). I don't think he's claiming to have reinvented the wheel here - he explicitly states that no matter the QB (experience included) they always go back to basics in the pre-season with their fundamentals. Personally I think the only way Canales succeeds is if he sucked up every possible lesson he could from Pete Carroll.
  11. Did you not watch the video package they put together for the segment? Bruuuuuutal.
  12. His biggest issue is his lack of athleticism (which includes arm strength)., closely followed by his fundamentals. Consensus #1 overall pick, apparently.
  13. It's never going to happen, but I wish they'd address the elephant in the room. Instead it's all about "trying to build around Bryce". Doomed to fail I fear.
  14. Best. Player. Available. Our roster is awful, don't reach for positions. If the BPA at #33 is clearly an OT you take him (I chose OT as the example 'cos we have two highly paid ones and you can't easily shift Ikey inside anymore with our recent FA acquisitions).
  15. Cos he's bounced around 5 teams in the last 5 years. The sad thing is - he's better than Young.
  16. He's not a 'dawg' though. Charmin' soft.
  17. Must be an Australian thing. We were always taught "man and ball". You wrap up high to stop the offload.
  18. They're super duper worried about injuries - but still don't outlaw turf. Makes sense.
  19. We spent a top 10 pick on McCaffrey and gave him a huge (early) contract extension. He was in the same situation as Burns - a star player who didn't fancy playing for this franchise anymore. We got pennies on the dollar for both.
  20. #1 overall pick that we traded the world for and they have to hide him. I hope Fitterer never works in football again / becomes the GM of our most hated rival.
  21. It was still too expensive even for Stroud (and what he's turned out to be [so far]). We gave up sooooooo much.
  22. I think every player on defence got bigger and faster, yes. You're playing against the College All-Stars of each recruiting class for the past decade in the NFL. He probably came across 2-3 future NFL players per game (and they were nowhere near the finished article) in the SEC. It's night and day - and it's shown on the field.
  23. I don't know how he's doing (cos who in their right mind watches the MLS?), but they hired a really good manager last time.
