I don't know how you get a tepper pick. This is the exact type of pick Dan Morgan has consistently made -

Hate it, just like last years draft. Dan certainly has a type. Who is big, has no quickness, and might be a decent player in 1999. -
Yea, our team, especially the defense is almost entirely devoid of talent. We don't have the luxury of taking for need to try to get any last pieces or anything like that. Take the best player and go. We have no core basically, definitely not on defense.

I've seen a lot of media people having Graham falling all the sudden on their mocks the past day or so. Not sure where that's coming from. If he's there at 8 run to grab him.

Chris Simms: Jalon Walker is the most overrated player in the draft

It wasn't really that complex what he did with Luvu. Played him as a lb on running downs and edge on passing downs. -

I agree with you, the weirdest part though is it seems Evero wants hybrids and tweeners but had no idea what to do with Chinn. -

His play style fits a small quick receiver. He's better in short and intermediate routes in space, but he lacks the acceleration to be great at it in the NFL and he's not really a deep ball or jump ball guy. On tape his best assets are small receiver type things. If we draft him then I will cheer for him and for my opinion to be wrong just like I'm still hoping I was wrong about xl but so far he has proven me right. -

You're wrong, I don't think he's that great at making contested catches. I think he is ok at making contested catches. -

His true lb tape isn't special at all. He is considered a top 10 pick entirely named on possible potential when he plays edge. -
That's every move Morgan has made so far as gm. Almost every player he has drafted or brought in is more of the type of guys that would have worked back when he was playing, not as much now in modern schemes.

Next season? I don't think so. He will be an edge mostly when it matters and they will platoon the others. Now with edge being so deep if there is one in the 2nd or 3rd that they like, take them without hesitation. Wonnum and Clowney probably aren't answers after this season.

Has nothing to do with Bryce for me. I didn't like him before the draft. He was supposed to be our #1 wr and was forced the ball and had what, 400 yards? It would be different if he wasn't a 5 year college guy. He's a panther either way and hopefully he improves.

Speed I guess, I think most people are talking about quickness. We have none. We have straight line speed at best. Acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, that's what we don't have, like at all. Look what Diontae Johnson did on the field while he was here. If he had kept his head down and played all season he would have had a great season. That's because he had those things and that's what our system needs. Not big guys to throw 59 yard bombs to in double coverage which seems to be what we covet for whatever reason.

I think he would be the panthers version of Luvu. Just a bit more athletic and explosive. True lb on run downs, Edge on passing downs.

REPORT: Panthers open to trading down from #8

The tape on Emanwori isn't so great, he just blew up the combine. Starks has really good tape but underperformed a bit at the combine.- 104 replies

God forbid this is the way the Draft shakes out

I believe they would take Shemar Stewart at that point. I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just saying I think that's what dan Morgan does. -
Bonds has all kinds of character issues. Even before this.

The tush push started as a rugy play. The eagles actually brought in rugby coaches to help coach it, sooo you're not necessarily making the argument you think you are.
-
There is literally no risk to this move. They are constantly churning the bottom of the roster. Bringing them in has no impact on their tight end decisions for this coming season.

Who do you want at 8?

To be fair, he did smoke the agility drills at the combine.
