Herbert isn't all that surprising but Love and instances like Sam Darnold looking like the old Sam Darnold should be a good reason for us to not go out of our way to read too much into some of these recent games from our own QB. Plenty of quarterbacks have put together handfuls of good games and then came back down to Earth. It's hard to find the guys with staying power. Maybe stating the obvious there but it's difficult to have conversations about this here sometimes without removing emotion.

So we're bashing Stroud for winning two playoff games but also patting Bryce Young on the back for playing well late in the season when we have nothing to play for? Probably would be a good idea to wait and see Bryce Young actually play good football in September and October for once before passing judgement on other young QB's.

They have a choke artist kicker too I see. Good that someone else can share in our anguish in that department.

I was told the Packers defense was formidable but I guess not.

It's all about that RAS score baby! Some people here won't want to hear it but we should have fully cleaned house of the draft scouts after Fitterer. Not only did we not we hired his assistant. I like Morgan but the way this team evaluates talent in the draft needs to change wholesale.

They have talent for sure but DeMeco Ryans is a big factor in the identity of that team all around but especially on defense. I'm really hoping to see our own head coach take on more of that kind of role in year two.

Certainly he's been impressive and we can rethink the pick but he's still only one guy and his team is getting blown out in the playoffs. I know it's popular to be down on Legette currently but there's still time.

Herbert is egregiously atrocious.

I haven't seen anyone arguing he's looked like his rookie self this year. But he is showing glimpses of that. Either he takes the next step in his development or he doesn't. It's the same as Bryce Young.

It's entirely possible to hope for Bryce to continue to build on his play at the end of this season and not just blindly disparage CJ Stroud because we selected Bryce ahead of him. It's not that deep man.

Bad play for Stroud but he put the ball up there for his guy to make a play. Gotta at least put a hand in there and try to make it tougher for the defender.

Maybe we aren't the right fanbase to go around calling other young quarterbacks pedestrian. Especially ones who were in MVP talks as a rookie.
