  1. All this stuff is great but they have to keep it going. That Bengals loss really wasn't that long ago. Finish on a high note.
  2. Don't be so dramatic. We're going to take a swing and odds are we may have to do it again. Even a quarterback prospect you may be personally in love with could be a bust nobody knows anything for sure.
  3. In theory you would love for your new OC to have multiple years of calling plays but the Joe Brady failure has made some folks uneasy. I get that but it's important to put it in perspective and remember this offense is night day with the same players due to Rhule's ass backwards way of doing things and all the college scheme nonsense. We will have a number of options and we should weigh them all carefully. But it's equally as important we pinpoint who will develop our next QB.
  4. We don't know for sure regardless. If your only argument as to why he does not meddle at all is that Justin Fields is not a Panther then it's flimsy. In truth If Tepper didn't meddle we never would have wasted 3 years with that fraud Matt Rhule. Tepper could have hired someone knowledgeable all along to navigate that process to identify the right candidate with NFL level coaching experience. Instead he heard a hot name and hopped on his jet with Marty Hurney and got sold a pack of lies and gorged on delicious meatballs and fell in love with a candidate because he reminded him of himself. Sounds like a meddler.
  5. He's reaaaaaally fallen off. Not all of it is his fault but I'm not interested in trading picks for this guy. Draft.
  6. No reason not to at minimum assess different options and make a sound decision. That's what a well run organization would do.
  7. Honestly Teddy Bridgewater probably got as much if not more vitriol here than Darnold so the melodrama about that is unnecessary anyway.
  8. ForJimmy is one of the more level headed posters here if you're saying he's posting with hate goggles you are only revealing just how delusional your own takes are just an fyi.
  9. It was a joke dude relax. Wanting him to succeed and some of the rhetoric here about his future based off one or two games versus an entire career of work that is not so pretty are different things and why many people are giving side eye. We've always known he has arm talent even when he was horrible with the Jets he would still have a few wow throws here and there. He's had those here in the midst of terrible performances. Even if he continues to look better over the next two games I'm still not jumping in the water just yet. I'm eyeing QB's in the first round of the draft no matter what. That's just me.
  10. Oh lawd Glenwo is back on the Sammy juice
  11. Oh I don't doubt that at all. That's the majority of guys looking to make a name on Twitter. That was just one of the first things that popped up when I searched Josh Norman 49ers. Like I said previously I was and still am a fan of Norman but I know reality vs fantasy and reality is sooner or later Josh is going to get cooked and some people will act surprised but it is what it is.
  12. Woof. I predict some unkind things being said about Norman on the huddle in the not so distant future.
  13. I like Norman but if you've followed a bit of his career the last few years you know how this ends. I give it about one half before people start to call for him to be cut.
  14. You're a Darnold believer I get it. That's swell for you sir. But all of this is unsettled we do not yet know what Darnold is or isn't pertaining to if he has truly turned a corner as a starter. One game against the Lions doesn't change nearly 5 full seasons of gametape. These are the facts.
  15. Darnold is a decent backup/bridge option I have no issues with him from a personal standpoint it's the lunacy from some expecting him to become a franchise quarterback at this stage. It's possible but that storyline is stale. See what he does these next two games. From there draft a QB in 2023 no matter what. Simple enough process for me
  16. You again? The guy is one of the main Darnold homers here and if this post doesn't spell it out for you I can't help you. Run along now.
  17. McAdoo is a genius now? The Darnold extremists are going to great lengths with this cope. I'm very eager to see what Ben and Sam can cook up for us if our run game isn't reaching historic heights.
  18. It has relevancy to the convo because while I agree to this point Sam does show capability to be a backup/bridge QB we don't know if how he is playing is sustainable or if he will revert to old habits when pressure to score points on his own without a powerful run game increases. The situation with Baker is an example of not putting too much stock into a performance one way or another like some people are doing now suddenly thinking we can hitch our wagon to Sam for the foreseeable future and forego drafting another quarterback.
  19. It figures the Cardinals couldn't take care of business. But yeah the refs will definitely look out for Tom if we let the game stay close in the fourth quarter. We really need the pass rush to step up.
  20. Indeed but I'm just giddy to see the Broncos in peril teetering on the edge of catastrophe and embarrassing themselves.
