Certainly reasonable to feel this way given the track record of the franchise but they aren't going to do an hours long interrogation to assess his level of loyalty either. Obviously Baker isn't top 10 but Cousins is above average at best and honestly Tannehill is fuging overrated. People talked so positively of him bc they wanted to latch Darnold onto his improvement as a means of coping with the trade and justifying it since they both had Gase as a head coach.
