  1. At this point there are undoubtedly things going on behind the scenes we aren't privy to. We can only make assumptions. But I do think it is safe to say the fact we still won't go back to him speaks volumes in itself. Seems to be a matter of when they officially move him not if. I've been waiting to see Bryce Young play well for over a year now. I'd have loved to see it. If anyone out there is holding out some bizarre hope that he will suddenly turn into a franchise QB one game this season I don't have a response to that because it is quite literally an insane notion. There's no delicate way I can put that. We don't need to start Bryce to get the first pick this season. I think the highest we are going is 2nd. We are that bad from top to bottom.
  2. We're getting the first pick regardless man. We are the worst team by a significant margin.
  3. What exactly are you hoping to see? Xavier Legette plainly told you after Bryce was benched what he was looking forward to. The deep ball. It doesn't exist with Bryce Young. He came into the game against the Commanders down 33 points with absolutely nothing to lose in that game or his NFL career to this point and tossed a pass behind the line of scrimmage and went back to the sideline. That's your first overall pick.
  4. He's already gone brother. You don't bench him the way they did and talk about things the way they do without making it abundantly clear that is indeed the case. There's no hate for either QB. They both stink. The team stinks. The roster has thrown in the towel. We're dead in the water for the time being. Bryce Young won't be here near season and at this point Andy probably won't either. We need to fully reset the QB room and from there rebuild this thing from the ground up.
  5. Sir. Your takes are definitely lining up with your avatar. Just saying. Bryce Young entered a game down 33 points. Threw for negative yardage and capping it off with a throw behind the line of scrimmage on third down. He's as toast as Dalton only 13 years younger and significantly smaller.
  6. Everyone here is frustrated. But you have to move forward using some level of sound logic and rational thinking. Just resetting the entire roster and trading off everyone for any pick you can get isn't necessary. The cupboards are bare. We are already in the midst of a youth movement. Just need to keep adding more youth and if Canales doesn't show signs of improvement by next season you consider a change. Same with Morgan. There is a possibility Canales doesn't last the season but doing so will only result in a worse hire in the short term we all need to understand that no matter how frustrated we are.
  7. Wilks isn't coaching in the NFL. Wilks bread and butter was a strong run game and an opportunistic defense. Against the Commanders we could not move the ball on a 4th and 1 after investing $150 million in the interior of our OL. We would still be getting our asses handed to us with Wilks coaching. Please end this automatic cope reflex already.
  8. There is merit behind both responses here. I think it boils down to the return. Unless we are getting a literal haul worth drooling over just stay put and draft the best player on the board.
  9. Mayfield is looking like the Baker we know well.
  10. I'm on board with taking a chance on Ward. The rest of the draft can be defense. Fug it.
  11. I am in favor of adding more picks. But as has been stated it doesn't matter as long as we have the same scouting staff and the same people ultimately making the final decision. Also let's be as realistic as possible about the value of 99% of the players on our roster. That is anyone not named Derrick Brown. They aren't worth more than mid to late rounders. If anyone is hoping for someone like Diontae Johnson to fetch a 3rd keep dreaming.
  12. Canales has more than earned criticism at this point in time. Not everything we are seeing is on him. There are things he inherited. But he also had a key role in free agency and the draft. And no matter what you may feel about him personally from an evaluation standpoint the guy is simply getting outcoached out there. Badly. Truly I don't know how they even move forward from here given the overall state of the franchise and our needs but if the first step isn't some tough love for the current players that are continually getting wiped off the field then they might as well move this team. Straight up.
  13. It was so plainly obvious it's comical. On the flip side Stroud's arm talent slapped you in the face off the tape. It was glaring. Even Richardson and Levis were phsyically doing things Young simply couldn't. But the media kept pumping up the Bryce Young hype machine mainly because he played for Alabama. What makes matters worse is before and after the draft you couldn't tell anyone otherwise. If you had the audacity to even offer a hint of doubt about Bryce Young maybe not being the greatest rookie QB of all time over the other prospects who were regarded as subpar at best and had their character and IQ called into question you were shouted down. These folks did the Tepper's bidding for them and then some. All I can tell you is never again do I want to hear this fairytale media driven nonsense about phsyical outliers for the most important position in football. You draft for physical traits and hire the right coach to mold the rest from there. Some of it is dumb luck. But you need the phsyical talent foundation first and foremost to start. You don't start with a QB who would be tiny even in high school football.
  14. I wouldn't blame anyone for just giving up. Tepper has earned scorn ridicule disdain and then some. He does not deserve people giving his franchise money honestly. For me I just keep up with the team loosely and remain a fan but laugh at their horrendous embarrassments and keep it pushing. I'm not jumping ship to some other team or walking around here wearing contending teams jerseys. If people want to that's their prerogative but that's not me. From here I'm just going to see how the Hornets do. They were the first sports team I ever rooted for and the first I ever saw in person. At this point I have significantly more hope for that franchise turning things around to any degree than I do the Panthers.
  15. Considering the wasteland that the TE position has become here over the years outside of Olsen he's doing alright. But when he's your leading receiver that's a damning sight. Trade AT and Diontae Johnson for whatever you can get at this point.
  16. We can keep him on the bench all we want we aren't fooling anyone. This guy came in during garbage time and threw for negative yardage. Threw behind the line of scrimmage on third down trailing 33 points. Teams see.
  17. At least they are being upfront and blunt about their shortcomings. Soft. We are softer than the Patriots at this point. I'm done hearing this sunshine pumping nonsense. The coach is soft. The players are soft. The franchise is soft. Now we will get another weak of soft practices like our players got an all day pass to a spa and we will get blown off the field by the Broncos in Denver. The 2024 Panthers are a perfect representation of the Tepper's.
  18. This franchise is unconscionably abusive to their fans.
  19. Steelers offense looks pretty good. Hasn't skipped a beat since trading away Diontae Johnson. Ya'll still wanna pay that guy top money????
  20. Of course one week after the Falcons blow this team off their own field they get blown out by the Seahawks who aren't even that great either. Yeah it's sadly looking like this very well may be the worst team of all time. Combination of awful personnel management and as of right now poor coaching. We are absolutely getting outclassed and outcoached.
  21. He had absolutely no input in us investing 150 million dollars into two OL signings and trading up to draft offense with the first 2 picks one of which was an already injured running back? The cupboards are bare in part because of decisions Morgan and Canales have made. That cannot be understated. It's like standing in a house that's on fire and you set the fire but you're screaming who did this. Basically:
